DIY with Quantum Boards

Again, to a point of diminishing returns. See the graphic I posted above; the last little bit is costly in terms of both light and environmental control and doesn't return an awful lot for the trouble.
Ya I get that I guess I just don't think it will diminishing that much. Here's my logic
4x8 room 1000w let's say you have a really good grow and get 1.8 g/w that's 1800g now put 1500w in the same space diminishing returns brings you down to 1.3 g/w that's 1950g over a qp extra is worth it to me that will cover the electricity cost for the whole grow. Maybe I'm wrong but if I manage at least 1.3 g/w this grow I'll be super happy with my decision. Another reason to run more light is to add heat to the room in my space if I ran 30w/sqft I would need to run a heater to get my temps up

800-1000 is where i thought I should shoot for. And led gardener?'s video was showing 6 hundred something ?dead center 24" above.. I could be remembering wrong. And of course those numbers would go up when multiple boards are used. All speculation for me right this moment
I think that's a good middle of the road number to shoot for.

I like your logic. Clearly you've thought through your approach and you have clear and achievable goals, which is the main thing.

Thank you for the details! I didn't realize the kit came with a dimming pot, so I bought some extras beforehand, and sure enough some of them measure out a bit below 100k. Good to know what's going on!

Meanwell type A usually gives more power than type B. HLG Kits come with Type A as standard
HLG-240H-CxxxxA will go as high as 280-300 watts.
HLG-240H-CxxxxB will be max around 260-270 watts. A 100K pot will limit it to 100%. However pots have +-20% tolerance so a 100K can be as low as 80K or as high as 120K. For max just leave the Dim + and - Open then it gets around 105%-110%.

Could someone recommend a driver(/s) to run 9x QB288 with a current around 500 ma per board.
Only looking to use 300-350 max watts all together.

Would be grateful for the help a little lost with the drivers and whats required with min max volts and what not.

Why not build 3 sets of 3 with something like HLG-240H-54 ( dimmable ) ?
You would have incredible flexibility among all 9 boards ... Each set to power levels of your choice or together ... Plus the fact is that you can PULL a rig of 3 and change footprint as needed .... You can dim power to lower levels easier with potentiometer control than trying to look for a particular hardwired current option. This where Quantums shine ... The power versus efficiency.... All by a little knob.

Wellllllll ... With those nice new grows all up on this thread ... , I hit up that dude that is my seed source
( if I sleep with his sister ..... You know " Jump on a Grenade ? " ) anyways traded some candy dream beans for some GodFather OG ?.....

Good News ....
Added to the Quantum Nursery - Batwing Rig ..... 3 QB 304s 3 panel

Bad News .... Need a Rape Shower after slapping her thigh and riding the wave in ...
( thank god for Brass Knuckles Cartriges ! ) ..... *nausea

Power is dimmed to around 205w - 15"-18" ish ... 18/6 cycle
Lowe's Super Mix - tap 6.5
Dr. Earth Liquid Solution ( 3/3/3 ) - Smells like shit but primo plant food !

Thats 500 watts to grow 150 grams......... unless you've got really cheap power, not worth it IMO.
