Please re-read my post more carefully. At the time I wrote it, I didn't have your post in front of me so I said: "you regret or would reconsider your decision to vote against Clinton"
This is what I referred to. The pertinent line is bold text. What I say is you thought Clinton would win and so were comfortable in voting for Stein. Just saying you aren't all that different from me in the regret that Clinton is not president.
I completely disagree that this will work out for the best for everybody. As a wealthy white person, you aren't affected directly by Trump's policies and maybe your finances will benefit. Not so for DREAMERS or families who will be broken up by ICE. Or the people whose healthcare is now at risk from Trump's executive orders regarding the ACA. This is what is meant when it is said your "for the best" line is one that comes from privilege.

wtf? Where on earth are you picking up any regret from me that Clinton is not potus?? I said that “I assumed she would win”. That in no way suggests that I’m disappointed that she didn’t. If I wanted her to be potus I would have voted for her.
I assume the Golden State Warriors will win the NBA title this year too. That does not mean that I want them to.

That unfortunately happens in every election. Nobody is perfect. Look at who has run each and every election for the past few decades. None were perfect.
What I referred to was this sentence:
I certainly didn't have this in mind when I cast my vote. It's something that I've considered after the fact. I honestly assumed Hillary would win.
I took this as meaning you were willing to reconsider your choice if you knew your vote was one of the decisive ones, which as it turned out, it was.

I considered them both awful choices, but for different reasons.
Clinton was clearly the more qualified, capable candidate. Unfortunately her feeding at the trough nullified everything else for me. Corporate influence over our politics is far and away the most important issue to me. Every single issue is effected by it, so I refuse to support candidates anymore that are in bed with the big money. Clinton is possibly the worst offender, so she wasn’t an option for me.
Trump is an unprepared, ill equipped narcissist. I agree with every criticism of him I see on here. However, I’m hoping that he is rock bottom. I’m hoping that people will wake up and demand some accountability. I stand by my comment that he could end up being good for the dem party. If they don’t learn anything from his election, then we’re already too far gone. Nothing will ever change.
Cue the word twisting and white privilege accusations...

He said before he sees Bernard as a vote against his own interests so he clearly sees Trump as a better option. He seems to only care insofar as Clinton does not have office.
