Looking good beard, thats using your beard, crazy flowers for two weeks gonna bud hard3.5 weeks in 12/12, 14 real days of flowering in my opinion. These ladies have only been under the boards their entire life.
I just got my qb now they come out with something better lolWould lumen density provide any benefits? Maybe better penetration? I've wondered this about the cobs now cree released these http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20171206005166/en/Cree-Launches-Industry’s-Extreme-Density-LED
Haha not better just differentI just got my qb now they come out with something better lol
Yes and no. High luminous density is a good thing(optics). It's not worth a big sacrifice in efficacy though.Would lumen density provide any benefits? Maybe better penetration? Most drivers will handle Euro voltage just fine.Hi, I'm very new (my first post) and i was wondering if the HLG 260w quantum board (and more specifically the controller) could withstand the 220V in the european electric grid? If not, would it be ok If I get a AC converter from 220V to 120V (and would a 1000W converter be stable and good enough?)
Sorry if It's a stupid question - I just want to get in on this awesome Led action and have fallen deep down the rabbit hole.
Thanks!
so a Meanwell HLG-240H LED Driver can withstand the 220V? So theoreticaly all I would need is to have a wall plug adapter (or just cut the wires and put the wires in an european plug)? Most drivers will handle Euro voltage just fine.

Great! Thanks very useful information... I've preordered a 260w 2 quantum board DIY kit Lets hope it comes within 2 months so I can use them when I switch to flower (replacing my old 250W HPS)Using 2 Meanwell drivers here in eu with no problems.
be sure to tell them you need a EU plugGreat! Thanks very useful information... I've preordered a 260w 2 quantum board DIY kit Lets hope it comes within 2 months so I can use them when I switch to flower (replacing my old 250W HPS)
Ok so it just eliminates the need for optics? That would be sweet if they could get within 10% efficiency of the current diodesYes and no. High luminous density is a good thing(optics). It's not worth a big sacrifice in efficacy though.
Get ready for the brightness. This light is closer to a 600w how when turned up.Great! Thanks very useful information... I've preordered a 260w 2 quantum board DIY kit Lets hope it comes within 2 months so I can use them when I switch to flower (replacing my old 250W HPS)
Yes i expect it will be so... With my 2.7x 2.7 it will be a bit much. So i expect to dim it to about 80% max power... It depends on the heat i just wonder when the stock will be available (two qb 304s, 260w)Get ready for the brightness. This light is closer to a 600w how when turned up.
No I mean optic selection /design is easier.Ok so it just eliminates the need for optics? That would be sweet if they could get within 10% efficiency of the current diodes
Check Amazon for the qb288s, you can pre order, shipping starts at Dec 14th.When do you guys think the next shipment of boards will be ready? This year or beginning of January?
