Sadly, 3500k is no longer an option for Quantum Boards, and hasn't been for several months. I recall Robin or Stephen saying that they only stocked the 3500k until production of the 3000k boards had ramped up? Something like that anyway - either of them could shed more light on that. Personally, I quite like the one 3500k board that I have, and wish I could have another! I know the spectrum isn't that different, so maybe it doesn't really matter, but I'd like to try a run in a 2x4 under two 3500k boards so I could compare to the 3000k I grow under. Oh well!
I have to wonder if HLG really expected the QB120 to be as popular as it is. They released a cheap little veg-light, but more and more often, it turns up in full builds. Pretty fucking cool.
Seems there is plenty of blue in the 3000k quantum boards. Comparable to that of a 3500k cob.
Not 120s but the same idea. I have strip lights running at ~half their test current less than 6" from the plants. This strain barely stretches so I won't need much more height than this.
Sfv og I can raise the lights I just don't want to I'm willing to sacrifice that top bud so the lowers can get more light. These plants grew crazy fast they are 5 feet from the ground I vegged 16 days from clone an topped most of the plants twice to keep them from growing too much. That middle plant on the left that's the tallest is the only one that didn't get topped because it was a runt haha
