DIY with Quantum Boards

Day 26f, hight is still an issue here. Cobs are running at 40% out of 1.75a and the boards are on 70% out of 2.1a. the 2x watt/volt/amper lcd monitors the I ordered arrived this week, will hook them up to the drivers soon so at least I'll have a more solid view on the current wattage of the rig.

Plants seems happy so far, with the exception of the 2 tallest plants that were strating to show to light yellowish tone on the top leaves due to the extensive light. Since then I've dimmed to the figures above.
The tent has a great aroma that reminds me of a lemon drop candy, one of my favs

Awsome growth, look at the leaf density thays when you know its alot of light when they sheild themselves with leaves, quite beautiful

We have all gotten used to instant gratification buying online with instant payment. When I was younger a check in the mail was payment and then there was waiting for the check to clear before your order was shipped, a week or two. And another week in transit. There was also an old custom called COD!

Have you had any issues with the distance to plants? Seems quantum boards are best for small spaces

Nope, if you look closely the plants that do show some signs of being too close to the light are the ones directly below the cobs.

And absolutely, for a tent/cabinet these rock. I would imagine they would kill too in an open space if you run the proper amount of units to cover your canopy.

your set up looks super efficient, really nice growth. What kind of panel meters did you pick up? I only found one online that will work with the 240H-C2100 driver. And the one I have is really close to faulting at the full output of the driver.

I'm interested in this as well, but for the 120H-54A. Thinking about running my two 288s in one tent, but I want to be able to set them to an equivalent wattage without having to plug them into the Kill-A-Watt every time I want to make an adjustment.

Thank you!
I've ordered these
bayite AC 80-260V 100A BAYITE-PZEM-061 LCD Display Digital Current Voltage Power Energy Multimeter Ammeter Voltmeter with Current Transformer CT https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YY1KOHA?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

Just bought 2ea) 288's, have the hlg-240-2100. I found about 40' of finned aluminum heatsink material yesterday, it is 7.38" wide, approx 15 / 20 fins approx .5" tall. That will make 14 qbs I'll have running when I finish this one.

Cool, Mau5 runs those panel meters. However the device is meant to read AC, It says that if you invert your power that it needs to be in 'pure sine wave' otherwise it CAN melt. @Discreetdigrowman what is your take on the meter reading DC from the driver?

This will suit your needs. It will give you your volts and amps, with those two you can determine watts. Or just match the volts and amps from each driver and then you will know that the wattages do as well

Scored the driver on a decent deal, so four QB120 boards and HLG-320-2100 for $224. When I add the 2 other boards will be around $276. This is all for a tent just shy of being a 3x3.

Going to be fun comparing my five cxb3590 @ 1400mA setup in a 4x2 which was $380. Also which runs cooler in the summer, will be my 1st summer running COB’s & Boards!

Yeah that meter would melt as the resistor pack and coil would not be able to handle the diverted load, that second meter should do the trick, all meters do draw a tiny load but you should be able to get your watts equal by matching voltage and current draw
