an Attorney General cannot rescind laws, he is trying to the reverse obama era rules.

It was an internal policy ruling made under the former administration. The ruling instructed prosecutors on what they can and can't target for prosecution. It essentially said that the feds would not prosecute any cannabis related crimes in states where it was legal as long as the states were making good faith efforts to prevent abuse.

The new ruling basically states they can prosecute anything anywhere. It's basically a blank check for prosecutors.

The laws have always permitted them to charge anyone for a cannabis crime, but policy said not to. Now that policy is gone.

Interesting the timing of this. I see an opportunity here for the People of WA OR and CA west coast tied to break away from the United States and to come together as one new country separating from the federal government altogether that controls us in demoralizing, insulting and unjust ways.

I get too lost with american laws and such so i might seem a little slow but does mean you can now be prosecuted if he gets his way?
 
You guys need to separate stats laws vs. federal laws. Federal laws supersede state laws, so anyone can be arrested for pot at any time and anywhere since federally it remains illegal. Case closed

This is only the beginning, just watch.

I think you can include nevada and colorado on that list.the feds could not even get a conviction against a rancher who was involved in an armed stand off with federal agents over grazing rights on public land in nevada.even legal states have republican congressman who would like to stay in office
 
I didnt want to say that i told you so if this happens but there was a better way and that was strictly black market or us growers.

If i was Cali i'd be pissed a little, i hope they dont screw up their new rec weed as seemed to be a good idea for them :-)

It means federal prosecutors are now free to charge anyone they want to under federal cannabis law, regardless of what state they live in.

Cannabis remains illegal under federal law,
