Has anybody here charged with a crime ever tried denying it?

It seems that Trump's strategy of denying any wrongdoing seems to be working.

It's brilliant. Have there been any cases where one of us has tried it?

The key thing is, as long as you don't admit wrongdoing, you will not be able to be punished.

Let's say they catch you mid-harvest, hands full of resin and gripping a pruning shear - just say "no I wasn't. This is a made-up story. The police were biased and part of a secret plot against me."

Suppose you get caught making a deal with an informer. Deny it. Say the informant is biased and is taking things out of context. Even if they have you on tape, just say "those things can be doctored. That's not my voice or image. It could have been put together by a 400# guy living in his parents' basement."

Has anybody tried this?

Got a wreckless driving ticket once. Was alone headed to work at 4am one morning in a past its prime 87 ford bronco2. You know those old vehicles with sloppy loose stearing? I drifted slightly out of my lane. Over corrected. Wrecked. Refused to pay wreckless driving ticket. It turned into a warrant in which I was arrested on 5 months later. The government does as they please and your only innocent if they want you to be

How can an accident be wreckless? I mean, you hit something, yes? Why were cattle involved? Thanks.

DAMN my fake news lol i was staggering all over it. I ended up pleading no contest and cut a deal.
idiot. You weren't smart enough to stick to your guns. You should have said that you were doing a parody or that you were just engaging in "locker room behavior".

People can make up video recordings, even 400# people.

Yes. I denied a couple crimes. One I denied the whole time and beat it. I was innocent.

One I didn't beat. I took a plea and come back later and beat it.

Both I was innocent.
Only losers settle. You proved this. Just deny. Things are different now. You are always innocent. The only people who are guilty are the ones who admit it... like convicted liar George Papadapolous and the leaker James Comey.

Had to in the second. Had no bail and wasn't getting out. Kids needed me. Tired of looking through that glass and seeing them cry. Sometimes you got to do what you got to do.

I came back and beat it on the grounds I plead under duress. Charges dropped and sealed. Had to sign a non disclosure agreement.
