Why Not Miracle Grow ??

Yes I do. Exclusively. It's cheap, it works, and it works well.

I always net between 4 and 6 ounces per plant. I top each one once and let 'em go. I mix in some perlite and lime (about 35% perlite to potting soil and about 8 tablespoons of lime) in regular, cheap nursery pots. I use the regular, general purpose miracle grow fertilizer (1/2 teaspoon per gallon RO water) for veg ( I usually wind up only using it once about week 5 right when I switch to flower) then I use the tomato formula for flower mixed the same way as needed. (That's typically ever week and a half.)

I've never had a problem.
What did they do to make their dry ferts not compatible with Cannabis growing?
O&R I think you'll find more details of why MG isn't formulated for cannabis here. They are actually reducing THC production with their formula! ON PURPOSE, and admitted it. You just have to be familiar with the relationships of the micro's to the plants response to them.

Amending with a Lime eh? What one? Dolo? There's the Ca/Mg issue cleared. Still, metal contents are rough. The Fe to Mn ratio is way off for cannabis. Your doing more for CBD then THC production. In fact that high of an Fe to Mn is actually inhibiting your THC production.

So then your feeding at 9 - 9 - 10.5
The high N is tempering the high P and the K is good.
No high N issue's as they progress?
How about P issue's later?
Did you know you should drop the K down in the last few weeks to keep it from reducing the THC concentrations? Yup, K inhibits THC levels too.....Bind that with the Fe vs. Mn thing, and you could do much better with something more formulated for cannabis.

Just saying......NOT insulting!

Scott's reps have said MG isn't for cannabis for years, that's why they've been buying up MJ "specific" nutrient and soil companies. Too high in N and the slow release ferts keeps realising throughout flower, affecting THC levels. This is old news. Why use a product the manufacture even admits isn't ideal for this crop?

I bet MG growers flush the shit out of their soil just to try to get it to finish halfway decently. Lol, flushing soil. :dunce:

And what do you supplement or amend besides?

Mineral content is off.

I have to say that earlier someone was raging on the N being high. Not really if you, boost the P a bit, at the right times.

Dyna Foliage pro is a 3-1-2 and that's popular.

@TacoMac Never said it didn't work. Being not formulated for, was a Scott's officer's statement.

I've made it work just fine too. I used it and some mineral (micro) nutrient amending outdoors for a bit....I still liked Jack's better. I mean for years, if you didn't organic. Jack's, Peter's and MG was about it. Show's my age eh?

Um, I feed everyday with my synthetic run plants..... Container plants, dialed in amounts. Specific metered volumes of feed. I don't get burned plants! Yes, more is better, is not!.

Days from harvest...

The tips are an indication of being right at the level of "pushing" the plant to very close to it's limit's of feeding.
I use that as an indicator of reaching as close to potential as I can.
I do it in building soil formula's too. Once I hit that plant response, and the plant doesn't have other issues. I know my soil formula is good to go.
I like to go for potentials.

I used bold to have the pic explanation stand out from the rest of the type. Kind of like when you add tables or pictures to a paper you write for college....

Besides, I didn't reply to you, so how was "I" yelling at you?

1. did this Megacrop grow finish?
2. did you have to add anything else other than Megacrop, like epson salt?
I'm still using the free sample.
I've found megacrop can be a bit strong for plants that don't want much N, so I use something else for those.
My feeding schedule is somewhat erratic and depends on what my plants want at any given time and the nutes I've got on hand...
