If soldiers are instructed to remain at their assigned duty stations or face serious consequences, but their pay doesn't come in, are they now in a kind of involuntary servitude / slavery status?
Would they be "protected by the constitution" by refusing to serve or obey, since their constitution prohibits involuntary servitude?
