Scary thought if that scenario ever came to pass in Da UP.....Sending police in to take the guns from the people in my area would end badly

You would've run as fast as your fat gut would let youBetter to go in and die trying than live your life haunted by the lives you failed to protect.
Maybe they would be motivated by "the small bonuses" they get for carrying a piece at school.Assume all the teachers were armed. Who in their right mind would take on a "bad guy" with an AR or AK with a small handgun?
Someone cornered with no way out.Assume all the teachers were armed. Who in their right mind would take on a "bad guy" with an AR or AK with a small handgun?
if they're already cornered, they're already dead.Someone cornered with no way out.
MAGA: many are getting armed? Can anybody point out to me a single case of a civilized country in which the teachers are armed?
USA. At least in community colleges in Colorado, instructors can carry. I never did but colleagues of mine did.Can anybody point out to me a single case of a civilized country in which the teachers are armed?

Anyone who was trained and took an oath to protect and . . . never mind.Assume all the teachers were armed. Who in their right mind would take on a "bad guy" with an AR or AK with a small handgun?
how about CU or CSU? or comm colleges only?USA. At least in community colleges in Colorado, instructors can carry. I never did but colleagues of mine did.
i don't think that's the teachers oath.Anyone who was trained and took an oath to protect and . . . never mind.
Very original, how on God's flat earth did you ever come up with this argument?
You're right it isn't. But I think common sense would tell you in this circumstance you need to eliminate the threat. Not run from it. Several armed teachers would be extraordinarily distracting to one gunman.i don't think that's the teachers oath.
anti depressants are not mind altering and they allow millions of people every day to be functioning members of society. reuptake of serotonin isn't mind altering. serotonin makes you feel better and the medicine allows you extra serotonin- your own brain chemical. i believe misdiagnosis plays a bigger part. kids are not always truthful. getting you the right medicine can be tricky.
what's crazy is the exposure this kid had to law enforcement over and over..so many opportunties.

yep,, for about 3 seconds until they are ventilated. 223 will go thru a door, lockers, desks, etc. 9mm won't.Several armed teachers would be extraordinarily distracting to one gunman.
I taught at a community college so that is all I can speak to with first hand knowledge. It was a pretty big case that went to the CO Supreme Court, maybe sometime around 2010? I THINK the ruling also applied to CU and CSU, just can't say for sure.how about CU or CSU? or comm colleges only?
interesting. didn't know that.I taught at a community college so that is all I can speak to with first hand knowledge. It was a pretty big case that went to the CO Supreme Court, maybe sometime around 2010? I THINK the ruling also applied to CU and CSU, just can't say for sure.
Here's a link that lists the Colorado institutions where you can conceal carry, and it does include CU and CSU:interesting. didn't know that.
You are thinking of a .308 and most likely the cop had a .40cal. One hollow point would have probably put that kid on his ass. One clear shot would have been all that was needed.yep,, for about 3 seconds until they are ventilated. 223 will go thru a door, lockers, desks, etc. 9mm won't.
