Assume all the teachers were armed. Who in their right mind would take on a "bad guy" with an AR or AK with a small handgun?

Can anybody point out to me a single case of a civilized country in which the teachers are armed?

Maybe they would be motivated by "the small bonuses" they get for carrying a piece at school.

USA. At least in community colleges in Colorado, instructors can carry. I never did but colleagues of mine did.

i don't think that's the teachers oath.
You're right it isn't. But I think common sense would tell you in this circumstance you need to eliminate the threat. Not run from it. Several armed teachers would be extraordinarily distracting to one gunman.

anti depressants are not mind altering and they allow millions of people every day to be functioning members of society. reuptake of serotonin isn't mind altering. serotonin makes you feel better and the medicine allows you extra serotonin- your own brain chemical. i believe misdiagnosis plays a bigger part. kids are not always truthful. getting you the right medicine can be tricky.

what's crazy is the exposure this kid had to law enforcement over and over..so many opportunties.

If you are talking about sssi’s they are being phased out as a treatment due to horrible side effects and lack of positive effect.

how about CU or CSU? or comm colleges only?
I taught at a community college so that is all I can speak to with first hand knowledge. It was a pretty big case that went to the CO Supreme Court, maybe sometime around 2010? I THINK the ruling also applied to CU and CSU, just can't say for sure.

yep,, for about 3 seconds until they are ventilated. 223 will go thru a door, lockers, desks, etc. 9mm won't.
You are thinking of a .308 and most likely the cop had a .40cal. One hollow point would have probably put that kid on his ass. One clear shot would have been all that was needed.
