Leaf/stick insect I think.
Get a partner for the fella! My mate used to breed them.. They drop like 1000+ eggs and die 6+ months before they hatch if I remember correctly.
Looks beastly though protecting the gard.

Ah ok thats what i thought at first but it looked like a scorpion like stinger
So ive already learnt a good lesson for my Hempy party cups.. Straight coco on top with expanded clay balls down the bottom isn't ideal. The coco wicks the water from the ECB keeping the coco saturated, which means only thick water roots want to make the coco home.
I noticed the outside of the rootball was homing the best fine-haired roots which I suspect is due to a small airgap down the walls of the cup allowing such a condition.
I think layering it like this will fix the problem;

60% coco 40% perlite - top 50%
----------------------------------
100% perlite - middle 10%
----------------------------------
100% expanded clay balls -bottom 40%
The drain will be at the top of the clayballs, and hopefully the perlite stops the wicking action so much.
Here's my last male I pulled from the led section party comp. And my only female out of 5 bag seeds that I'm going to win with

@dopeonarope would know more about sativas than me I’ve got a rule when it comes to feeding “fit in or fuck off” they have to be a pretty special plant to get treated differently by me

I’ve never started plants in coco hempies but I think you are right about too much moisture in the root zone being an issue,if you had a lower drain hole with a elbow and a bit of pipe it would allow you to have less water in the rez when they are younger and gradually add more as they get older ?So ive already learnt a good lesson for my Hempy party cups.. Hmm I do like that idea, I think a combination of more airation and keeping the res half full for the first 2 weeks or so will be my next attempt. Its all so delicate in a party cup..!
Are you guys scared of rot if you're running mini hydro cups?

A lot of sativas can take pretty heavy nutes but I'm getting over them indoors. Same strain finishing a couple/few weeks longer than the one next to it is fucked in a little tent

I may reveg that Colombian when it's done. Take a couple clones. Then chuck one outside. I'm pretty sure someone will want some CG clones.
I'm itching to get another round started. Maybe one or two of those new beans I got. Just dont have the room or the medium right now.

Had to pot up 2 af hazes yesterday since I'll have to flip in a week or so with the cup challenge. I've had one going in a cup for about a month and its getting pretty mag deficient but I'm hoping I can turn it around a bit before flowering
