No, that was my reason for doing it. I'm sure everyone is tired of the ballwashers wrecking every thread in the entire section in your desperate attempts to run off anyone who doesn't agree with you.
As a 'noob', I've been here 2 years longer than you have.
I've been doing my homework, too. I honestly wish that we could make things better simply by voting for the nearest Democrat, it would be simpler and much easier.
Unfortunately, our country has decided to sell itself to the highest bidders. Both parties are guilty, the Democrats possibly even more criminally than the opposition. By now, we have traveled far down the roads of authoritarianism at home and imperialism abroad. It should not come as any surprise that our corporatised and consolidated mass media has failed in its duty of informing the American People about the ongoing atrocities carried out in our name.
We can choose to learn about and deal with the messy realities of the situation or we can continue to fool and fight amongst ourselves.
I choose to be a realist. Hate me for it if you like.
