Chloride, sulfuric acid, sugar, and water are the majority of the “suspension.”
They can label it that way because it is registered as a fungicide, where Botanicare chose a different labeling route with a more conservative guaranteed minimum analysis.

Remember those are minimum analysis, not what is actually in the bottle.
They are also using different methods of analysis. Different strain, too.
Mixing each one with water and analyzing under a microscope is quite revealing.

i looked it up:
CBacillus amyloliquefaciens 0.038% contains a minimum of 1.00×10^4 cfu’s / ml

not good with math, but 10^10 is immensely more concentrated than 10^4.

The biggest difference in the "products" to me is the benefit beyond root health.
The Hydroguard strain will have a positive increase in trichome/resin production, highly pronounced when used at 3-4 ml/gal. I found this out by accidental overdose years ago.
This doesn't happen with any dose of the Southern Ag version.
What is also cool is that you can use a small fraction of the Hydroguard suggested rate to maintain root health in problematic situations.

same bacteria, more concentrated, less needed, cheaper overall. southern ag wins no matter how you argue it.

I didn't argue it, I tested it.
An effective dose of Southern Ag is about 2 cents/gal (.5ml).
A Hydroguard full dose (more effective) is also about 2 cents.
