I can't afford those right now, but I can't stop looking at them... I have a small tent,a 2x2x3,would two of those 100 watt lights be too much?

Best thing is to go on Timbers website and open a chat window. Give them your dims/needs, etc and they will recommend the right set up. They are a pretty big step up from the P300 panel type. I'd say the biggest difference is rock hard nugs and denser growth.

i've found that if you start autos in the final pot, you have to be careful how you water. you have to water around the base of the plant, and not waterlog the pot, and at least every third watering you need to go plain ph'ed water to wash out the salts building up. after the third round or so they should be well enough established to take a good drenching, but those first couple of weeks you need to be careful with them.

I had problems with everything being too damp when I started the seeds in their final pots. Supporting them when they tipped to one side caused stress also...mainly because i'm naturally clumsy. Starting them in solo cups and transplanting at 7 days is now my go-to-method as I have much more control and end up with a healthier plant. I know. I know...some of you have known this stuff for ever, but there's so much bad info on forums that you have to learn a lot of this stuff for yourself. Reading the Mephisto grow guide was also an epiphany.

Thanks brothers and sisters for all of the information you have been giving to me, I would be lost without it... I don't think I'm going to be using any nutrients on this grow, unless I can find something that won't leave all of the things that you all have been talking about... I don't want to mess this one up...

I HIGHLY recommend gobox nutes and following the feeding chart starting at 1/2 strength 2 weeks after germ. My soil is 60% Biobizz light mix which auto seedlings seem to like. without nutes all my lower leaves will be turning yellow at 5 weeks. With gobox, and following the chart, I am able to retain the leaves a lot longer and I end up with a healthy plant.

The 2 Alien V Triangle are in the back and the 2 ROG are front. 2 weeks from seed and 1 week from transplant. I haven't watered since a week ago as the grow bags still feel pretty heavy. 2" of of dry soil on top though. Over-watering is where I ran into trouble before so I think I'll wait until they dry out a little more. I did saturate everything when I transplanted and its taking a while to dry out.

i know thats the common wisdom, but i just give a light watering when i transplant, wait a day or two and give them another light watering. i don't think it hurts the roots, i think it helps them stretch out and start growing again as soon as possible.
