Interesting comments guys thanks for the heads up. ive got 12kw worth of their DE lights now that i really like. i was hoping to be able to keep my yields the same at half the wattage but if these lights wont make good 1kw DE replacements then ill just keep on running the DE's

  • revolution_microMax power at the wall is 1150w, can dim down as low as 28w. Presale is open until June 1. PAR output we measured is approx 1800 uMole, but that was before the driver upgrade so may be a little different. There are 512 diode, all Osram except one LumiLED. Comes in at around 2.2 uMole/J at full, better when dimmed.
  • revolution_microYou can get a LOT more brightness by cranking up the colors, but then it's not sunlight white...
  • dabney_bowlman_dgcWarranty info?
  • revolution_micro@dabney_bowlman_dgc- 3 year warranty :)
  • revolution_micro@andy_whg - 1150w - PAR output unknown but we think its a conservative estimate to say 1900. Top bin Osram diodes and a three year warranty.
  • revolution_micro@throttlestomper 1150w , footprint is 4x4 is 18” - 5x5 is 22”
PAR output is being tested but Greg says 1900 is a conservative estimate.
  • andy_whg@revolution_micro that would also shorten the lifespan of the diodes
  • revolution_micro@andy_whg - no we’ve allowed for that, has more to due with the mix of the diodes and their relative efficiency. We’re in no way over driving them.
  • tuna_butt@revolution_micro so we get a 4x4 footprint @18" from canopy? 5x5 at 22" light to canopy?
  • lonestar_cannabis@revolution_microwould really love to see PAR output at certain wattage, certain heights, footprint coverage... 250W draw at 18" high, 1000W draw at 36" etc... Love the concept though, just like seeing lab results before cutting a check, because I'm poor lol
  • growcirrus@revolution_micro1800uMol/1150 is 1.56 not 2.2...you would need 2530ppf to hit 2.2uMol/J
  • revolution_microIf you want sunlight white, some leds are not running at full power, which is why we are quoting the PPF on the low side. Once we get the production units through CSA we’ll publish the data like we do on the other lights we make. As to NASA tech, were not affiliated with NASA. The LEDs degrade over time, they all do, but our drivers are designed for a 30+ year MTBF. Thevweak link in LED ive seen is driver electronics and heat. Weve done our best to address both.

Now its mostly " top bin" osram?1150w For $600, lucky to hit that with epi chips + BOM @ a profit, these reps are clueless.

what a shit show .......i would stay far away from this led fixture imo

I'm thinking about running 4 of these one per 4x4 area in a 10x10 tent. If I dim to around 650-800w I'm hoping they can work OK with 7' ceilings
well ive seen the light the hard way unfortunately. i really wanted to like these Rev Micro lights...

Im ditching my Rev Micro DEVA lights. they do not hold up in a room with high humidity and possible water vapor condensing on the fixture. the PCB will short out or get hard water residue on it and cause them not to work. just a result of having a PCB fully exposed to the grow room environment. none of my gavita, gavita china knockoffs or phantom DE lights have an issue since they are all sealed. ive now gotta throw away half of my 400+ dollar lights and getting a new PCB from revmicro cost as much as just buying a new sealed fixture from a different maker and a wait time of over 6 weeks. Just warning others who may have high humidity rooms with possible condensation on the fixtures. Don't even think about using these in a light assisted greenhouse.
