65 W per sq ft is way high for LEDS. 30-35 is what's more appropriate. Also I thought your supposed to use 65 Watts foot square? Your using 31 Watts a square foot

Yes, but more than doubling that to 65 is still WAY more than is needed. When using LED that is getting only 120/lm/w I think pushing up the watts per square ft would be a good idea. I'm not positive but I think the 30-35 per is based on more efficient LED lights. Again, not sure on this. There is a thread on IC where PAR values can be found and compared.

yeah theyre all the same. jam a screwdriver straight thru that plastic globe and out the otherside and pop it off. the leds are on a flat plate down in the base
Thanks I got it right before your picture and OMG its bright so are you saying that 60 is like 120 hops?
Hps? I meantThanks I got it right before your picture and OMG its bright so are you saying that 60 is like 120 hops?
Thanks again. I have 3 more to go for 240 Watts I guess equal to 480 Hps?
Thanks very much, I ordered 3 think different autos that were supposed to be here Monday with a photo blueberry I was going to clone the hell out of.in happy they arrive today 2 days early but no blueberry. Ak-47 auto Dem instead so now I have 4 autos I just started germinating in a wet wash rag.I veg and flower with 100w equivalent led bulbs they do fairly good. I am currently getting a strip build going. They are some good bulbs to learn on and get started with leds.
South Alabama around Dothan but it doesn't get near as bad as like when I lived in Ohio but still cold enough to kill from October 15-20-march 15-30th nights.Where are you?
The "equivalent watts" is no relation to HPS at all. It just the lumen equivalent of "old style" 60W incandescent bulbs. Do not even consider that number. Just go by the actual wattage (5W)Thanks again. I have 3 more to go for 240 Watts I guess equal to 480 Hps?
