What's the interest in growing with retail store LED bulbs?

The colour is written on the bulb and packaging, you should look at that and you'll see what the Kelvin of your bulbs is.

I found that 2 or 3 weeks under the "colder" 6500k light brings the babies on beautifully, then they get switched over so they're under something "warmer" with more power.

That's me though, others will know better and give you better advice

You're proposing the equivalent of 4 with each one under less light than I'm talking about and the colour of the lights will make a difference too. I don't think your idea will do much beyond the first week or so, to be honest.

Each 10 watt actually at 60 but 10 you said real amount and on the box at 10 watt it says 3000 Kelvin so 4 lights. Isn't that 3000 Kelvin x 4 lights since one has 3000 Kelvin? I am confused

10w led is the EQUIVALENT of 60w incandescent. You have 4 so that is 40w and nothing more, you have the EQUIVALENT of 240w of regular filament bulbs.

Each one has a temperature/colour of 3000k. That means you have 40w at 3000k.

I'm telling you as a matter of ill send you a picture that each light is 3000 Kelvin at ten watt.you said nothing more nothing less sorry but you are fuckin wrong. Each has 3000 Kelvin and here isthe proof. There you go bright guy

I apologize because now I see what you see 40 Watts at 3000 Kelvin I thought it would be 40 Watts at 12000 Kelvin so I apologize for that if that's the truth

Already told you you don't add up the Kelvin numbers when they are all the same as they all emit the same colour of white.

So even with 4 lights the Kelvin is still the same? Like I said I apologize because im sure you know way more especially since im the 1 asking loll. I guess the reason I thought 12000 was because I thought you add each light so thanes for clearing it up for me

They all emit the same "colour", so that's what you have.

I recommend you do a bit more research into lighting before you do anything else

Trust me I will. Im an outdoors grower but basically was just wanting to know if I can grow 4 autos with the 4 lights I have for 2 weeks?

Im only doing for 2 weeks from sprouts then moving outdoors but was hoping the 2 weeks would strengthen my plants a descent amount before I put them in five gallon pots then inside a cage that is big enough to hold the four pots with still enough space for 3 inches on each side of each pot.

Also they will be able to get 30 inches tall before touching top of cage Im using for protection then Im simply opening the cage door so they can still grow taller

Hello everyone

I started optimisticly, bought a lot of equipment and in the end I missed the money for the light.
So i am now in a position to have two 15w 6400k LED bulbs.
The seed has not germinated yet, and for 25 days I have no income and then I will be able to afford or better light or buy more of these bulbs

so I wonder if I can work part of veg with these 30w 6400
