Yeah thats what I thought.. im not expert for that.. personally id try to avoid but if you really want to use it then I guess try to have it as far as possible to the least amount of light reach your plant.. i did a quick search online and getting only mix reviews some reporting hermie plant some saying its all good.. some say it depends on the wavelength of the IR.. watching your plant at night is not that helpful mind you must be fun tho lol.. if its only to monitor temps/humidity maybe just look at a wireless unit that you could put outside the room and able to monitor days and night while not maybe or maybe not affecting your plant

It's no more 300w than I'm a billionaire, it'll likely pull less than half that and they'll claim it's the equivalent of a 250w HID so that makes it a 300w by their flim-flam.

Yea I suspected as much. I travelled the internet this morning and 99% seem to be cheap China makes. Others are 300+quid. I’m just concerned I’m using only 5-6k lights at the moment in veg and they won’t be sufficient for flower.
