Getting ready for my second outdoor garden this spring. Started seeds about 5 weeks ago, and I've been hardening them off for about a week. In my area of Michigan we are supposed to have some great weather starting today, so all the babies are moving outside permanently, I hope. I want to stick them in the ground in the next week hopefully.
I did pretty well last year, although I had pretty bad luck with males, 4 out of six had to be purged! Putting in 10 this year, I really only need 2 average sized to carry me and my patient through the year.
I have a roofless barn to grow in, only 8 foot tall walls so I had to do some bondage to keep the height discrete. I love Hazeman seeds, esp. The Mikado which is my all time favorite smoke, so all the genetics are his...trying to figure out how many of my 10 slots will go to each variety. I have several of each of the M, G-high, hippy headband, and some l.a.pure x ChemDog tester seeds.
Been loving all the outdoor discussions, I found out that a lot of my indoor growing experience did not apply. Thanks for all the sharing!
