So nobody is going to tell him?
It was Thai bud wrapped on little sticks, then dipped in hash oil and /or opium.I'm curious what a Thai Stick was like.
I imagine it was pretty intense considering bud potency wasn't quite what it is now.It was Thai bud wrapped on little sticks, then dipped in hash oil and /or opium.
It was around in the 70's during the VN war, and as you can imagine, it was some pretty intense smoke
Cost $25 in 1974 for 1 stick about the size of a pencil and if you liked opium, you would love that shit.
It was fucking awesome
Outed as inexperienced shit talker.I imagine it was pretty intense considering bud potency wasn't quite what it is now.
Shit talk you say?Outed as inexperienced shit talker.
Werd Big Boss. Send me your address and I'll send you my copy of the big book of joints so you can learn yourself how to roll one.Shit talk you say?
You mean in reference to the above?
I'm sorry but I tend not to indulge the mentally challenged. Especially when the insults are soo shamefully weak.
I smoked my first Thai stix in Vietnam 1969 and I'm still chasing that dragon. Mind numbing stuff.I imagine it was pretty intense considering bud potency wasn't quite what it is now.
I'll take a stab at it:I imagine it was pretty intense considering bud potency wasn't quite what it is now.
Nailed it!I'll take a stab at it:
24 years old, still lives at home, has heard about pot but smoked only oregano, plays PS4 all day and can't figure out why he's perpetually broke and has no love life.
I personally think breeding for high thc has ruined some cannabis. I've noticed 15% thc stuff can be way better than 30%. So many things contribute to the buzz. They found out like four cannabinoids are psychoactive and there are more than 60 cannabinoids all together. Terpenes play a role. Curing. A lot of things like you said.I hope you don't think I'm disagreeing with you about the quality of your product or your price. When I went into a dispensary during the first year pot was legalized I was confronted with a dizzying array of weed at the counter with only smell and THC analysis to help me decide. To uninitiated consumers, price also equates to quality. Turns out that smell can be misleading and judging quality based on price is a fools game. THC content doesn't give the consumer the whole story either. How the weed is cured, terpene chemistry and CBD play a role in the experience. So, how is the consumer to decide? If I didn't know it was yours, how do I compare one vs the other when it's just sitting in front of me? It takes a while for consumers to get educated too.
As far as the $40/ounce stuff goes, I told you already, I haven't tried it. The reviewer said the smoking quality was just OK but the deal was good. My guess is that growers are dumping what they couldn't sell while they get ready for another growing season. I'd also worry about pesticides in the cheap stuff. Pesticide aren't controlled or even measured in the legal market in Oregon.
Or indoor soil grown. I like organic soil grown myself. I know it's a bit slower but that's fine with me.I was always a dirtbagger, never went to hydro. I just stuck with what works for me. And from a long time ago I always thought outdoor soil grown is better than hydro.
Yea. I miss them. The shit would give you visuals. The older guys always usta tell me about those strains. The best sativas.
Seedsman White widow. Thiers the brazBrazi sativa really shines through.Next crop grow some Hazes, like seriously
Purple Haze easy
Lemon Haze easy
Jack Herer - can be a pain in the ass
Great White Shark easy.
and the list goes on and on.
I, and my customers, just fucking love Sativas, it's the best buzz out there (did I just piss off some Indica heads?)
Just add a little time for your grow, and all will be good
The biggest plant I ever grew was a mexican brick seed in the 1970's......15' tall if she was an inch.Seedsman White widow. Thiers the brazBrazi sativa really shines through.
C99 for a fast flowering sativa.
I got some freebies from seedsman. Hawaiin skunk haze. 16+ week strain. Smelled like a skunk had a three way with a banna and pineapple.
Female seeds has a good Neville's haze cross.
Buy some Mexican brick and grow the seeds. I've found all kinds of nice plants from them.
Lol. Yea. I've seen them 15-20 foot tall. You have to have a mild year for them to finish or green house here. Monster plants though. The biggest plant I ever grew was a mexican brick seed in the 1970's......15' tall if she was an inch.
I didn't have any support for it and it fell over during flower and I lost 1/2 of it.....Monster GirlLol. Yea. I've seen them 15-20 foot tall. You have to have a mild year for them to finish or green house here. Monster plants though.
I believe it.I didn't have any support for it and it fell over during flower and I lost 1/2 of it.....Monster Girl
We get too wrapped up in numbers sometimes. I read an interview with a breeder who said same as you. Customers are driving the market and they want to see the mind numbingly high THC number on the pouch.I personally think breeding for high thc has ruined some cannabis. I've noticed 15% thc stuff can be way better than 30%. So many things contribute to the buzz. They found out like four cannabinoids are psychoactive and there are more than 60 cannabinoids all together. Terpenes play a role. Curing. A lot of things like you said.
Here it's either $40 a quarter brick. Some Mexican some home grown. No telling what's in it and it will be full of seed. I kept a good collection of Mexican brick seeds. Some of it is worth growing.
On the other hand good indoor is $20 a gram.
Not much in between. It's either shitty or good and high dollar.
It's why I grow my own. One I don't have to go to dealers to get it and keep my business mine. I know what I use on mine. No chemicals.
I remember a buddy of mine moved to California in the late 90's. He came home for a visit and brought some killer stuff in. I guess he knew where to get decent stuff. He told me about how a lot of cannabis in shops was meh.
I'm an old hippie that protested against the war, and I just want to say something.I smoked my first Thai stix in Vietnam 1969
