That was another plant that was vegging. That was grown under t5. Amber tricomes. A week or so before chop. It's ok. You bought into the hype and think starving plants is good.

It was organic. Plant took what it wanted.

Smoothness comes from dry a cure. Not flushing or other bro science.

Nitrogen is needed in flower.

Your plants look better than ops. The op plant is not normal and shame on you for saying so.

So let's recap. You got to make an excuse that it's normal to starve and fry your plants with bloom boosters at the end.

Those plants were 2 foot for the one and around 36 inches for the others. Main colas about 18 inches to 2 foot and thick as my arm grown under a cheap 4 foot 8 bulb t5.

His plant further along then mine....give mine 2-3 weeks will have all light green leaves just like his. Flushing is to flush the buildup of crystals at root tips to enhance the up-flow of nutrients. Has nothing to do with Nitrogen. You really don't have a clue. Go research yourself or read a book. Thats good advice. Im just not to the level of growing yet where i can tell what it needs. And when i do know, its too late haha. But hey thats with anything! I was using earth juice grow, bloom and microblast. Think on my next one just use light veg nutes even through flower until it says otherwise?

Ive never fed to harvest and never plan to. I dont plan to feed this plant again haha. Im just gonna let it do its thing the next 2 weeks and see wjat happens.

Who you talking to? I've never used fox farm.

Living soil. I have a compost pile and worm bin. I have a farm and compost manures.

I build my soil from scratch.

Definitely. And ive been using an app on my android called jane. Its a great grow log. Tons of information and details you can add, pretty cool.

I have a few grow threads on here. One is 40-60 pages long. I don't remember.

I've shown everything from healthy plants to screw ups. We all make mistakes.

I was raised growing a garden every year. Done it since I could walk and been growing pot over 20 years.

I still screw up.

I also don't buy into bullshit cannabis specific this or that. Bloom boosters or flushing.

Especially flushing. That's a debate I care not to start back up. Science doesn't support it. You don't flush tobacco. It's green when chopped.

Proper plant nutrition is important late flower. Cannabis can put on up to 25% of it's weight the last couple weeks. It's important for terpene production.

I have read the studies. Proper nutrition raises most cannabinoids. Tox lowers them as well as starving them.

Then beval said something about flushing organic. Why? It's organic. Water only. The way I grow. It gets nothing but water. It can't be flushed.

I'm rambling now. Anyways. It takes a little time but you will get it.

I say you need to let one go until it's limp from needing water. You will then see the difference in under and over water droop.

Under watering and the leaf stems will relax and let the leaves lay against the plant. Over water and the leaves will droop but not the stem. You then get yellowing and necrotic spots.

Chronic under water has a unique look. Had a plant outdoors get a dry spot that became hydrophobic. Wouldn't take water. Peat bases are bad for it.

Water tension. No shit. Right in the middle of the root ball. You can add a drop of dish soap to water and it helps if the soil is hydrophobic.

It doesn't have to be complicated. Mix equal parts of a base like promix, compost and worm castings. Add a little garden tone and you will be good to go.

Garden tone is like $8 for eight pounds. Cheap and non burning.

This is a little better but cost more. It covers most of the popular meals like kelp and such.

If you are the last week or two and have a yellow leave or two or some spots then no biggie.

What I take issue with is the fact there is a problem this grow and the guy tells you it's normal.

It's not and it's better to learn what went wrong.

(not sure why I'm trying to explain this too you as you kinda like a trool and I'm violating my own rule about feeding trolls so I'm out of here....maybe someday you will see the light...the light green leaf...lol!

the salts that nutrients are bonded to build up in growing medium if you don't water to run off regularly. doesn't have to be every time, but at least every third time. that's not "flushing". that's watering to run off. if you don't over feed, there's never a reason to "flush", which is actually leeching, flushing applies to toilets.

Your wrong! Especially the water here (high alkaline) but use Walmart spring water also. Flushing is semantics and a word game....leaching is what one does to pine etc. nuts to eat em (involves boiling). I also think (except near harvest) that to water until runs out bottom is idiotic and could easily cause root rot early on if bunch of rainy days happened along. And ya, that's really what I want to do is flush all the goodies out of my soil early on by watering until it comes out the bottom...I use 1/3 perlite and barely make it sometimes until harvest so need all my good stuff in my pot not running out the bottom.

But you don't have to worry about that because you feed em so much!
