That was another plant that was vegging. That was grown under t5. Amber tricomes. A week or so before chop. It's ok. You bought into the hype and think starving plants is good.
It was organic. Plant took what it wanted.
Smoothness comes from dry a cure. Not flushing or other bro science.
Nitrogen is needed in flower.
Your plants look better than ops. The op plant is not normal and shame on you for saying so.

So let's recap. You got to make an excuse that it's normal to starve and fry your plants with bloom boosters at the end.
Those plants were 2 foot for the one and around 36 inches for the others. Main colas about 18 inches to 2 foot and thick as my arm grown under a cheap 4 foot 8 bulb t5.
