A series drivers can only pump out approx 112% of their rated wattage max. If you remove the dimmer or get a potentiometer up to 112k ohms, B series is pretty much the same. Which for that driver is 209.6w. Since the driver is typically 94% efficient, you're looking at like 225w max from the wall. No way it's pulling 270w.Quite possible. Max out both potentiometers. Damn, I guess ill stand corrected.Ive had 260w out of a hlg-185 ive also have 230w out of a elg-150.
Datasheets are pretty much useless look at the test reports.
240v. I wouldnt recommend running them like that they get very hot and probably wont last as long.Damn, I guess ill stand corrected.
Is that at ~240v or ~120v?
Maybe heatsink the driver case? Ive got a few of the same driver and running 52v cobs they max out around 220w for me, thats at 120v240v. I wouldnt recommend running them like that they get very hot and probably wont last as long.
I'll take a parts list if you don't mind. that thing looks sweet! I'm going to get around to doing some strip builds at some point and I'd love to borrow the designThought id share a new design with the f series. Easy to build, if you need a parts list i can post it.

look like they praying to that lightNot as clean as many setups in here but it's my first step into the DIY world, i obviously need to clean up my wiring:
8 Vero29 v2 (2 * 4000K + 4 * 3000K) @ 1050mA (in a 80*80cm tent)
View attachment 3435659I will add 2 more 4000K when i will move the panel into the 1 square meter tent.
