My First Grow. Bag Seed

My First Grow 3 days old going well so far in my window for the moment plan on getting better lighting. Random bag seed I got hoping for female who doesn't though

Any tips or tricks from some experienced growers

What is the whitish stuff on the very first leaves?
To me it looks like water marks but idk
Maybe a thin film over them

Probably, dissolved solids in your water supply.

Yea I didn't think about that if I'm right the water I use were I'm at is somewhat hard I know that is not necessarily a good thing but how will that negatively affect my crop

Take it from me it won't at all. The water is hard as nails in my area and my ladies love it. It's only what they'd get if they were growing outside anyway...

Alright cool cause that was one of the big things worrying me my water has a shit ton of calcium in tap so I have been using family members well

A well might actually be worse, there’s usually a large amount of sulfates in well water that aren’t good for your plants.

If you have a well, get a water quality report. if you are on municipal water, go to their website and read your water quality report. If it does okay as a seedling, it should do okay any other stage, so long as you keep the pH balanced.

Tf when I read congrats i didn't know what to think then I thought about the plant thanks and I'll look into it if not I'll just keep using what I got it seems to be working so far and if I end up killing my New Baby lol I'll learn from failure it's not like I spent any real money just a random bag seed

I would say yes, but when in doubt visit a pet store that carries water conditioner for aquariums to mix in your water and let set for a couple minutes. It will definitely be better for the plants overall health.

Make sure you airate the water too.

Startin off in the beginning is rough...but just be nice to yer plants, be sure not to over water em..leading cause of death is over watering with new growers. Feel free to pm me with any questions if ya need a hand.

Yes an air stone is exactly what you need, it’s to help the conditioner bubble stuff up and out of the water such as chlorine, ammonia, bleach, and a bunch of other imputities that might be in it.

Yea I heard that letting your water sit out for a day or two is supposed to help with evaporating chlorin is that correct and another question I have a seed germed and i put it in soil and I moistened the soil but when I look closely I see tiny white worms I mean like almost microscopic in the soil. Are they gnat Lara and if so how would I go about getting rid of them?
