Should I look at popping some of my favourite smoke like orange og and trying to get a female and then getting GPS pollen of a decent strain and chucking ?
Or would it be easier just to put half dozen down and harvesting and saving the pollen for later use ?
It's only a small tent I use so I'm wondering wether I should be doing a 2 week veg then flipping or trying to go to flower straight from seed ?

I probably wouldnt go 12/12 from seed just so you can see how they grow a bit more naturally to check structure and vigour. 12/12 tends to produce beanpoles regardless of strain so isnt a great test. Guess it depends on your available time and the numbers you want to go though.

I've got a small veg area here so I'm going to run a small scale perpetual and make some s1s along the way. every 6 weeks I'll drop more to get a decent male donor and store the pollen for other chucks. 4 at a time so it'll take a while to get through lots of beans but I'm not in a rush really

fucking ouch - I know that pain very well. I've got mangled digits and toes from breaking and dislocating them too much when I was younger.

In happier news (after the move from hell) I've just cracked out some 88G13HP x NL#1 for a soak and getting a grow started in the new house
Im super excited to see how they turn out I reckon they will be fire. Fourora Borealis is next on my seed buying list

12/12 from seed isn’t going to let you see how they want to grow in terms of structure and vigorous,if it was a line you were really familiar with maybe it would be a good idea but not a new one.

Speaking of males one of my tangerine haze x stardawg is starting to get real pretty. Definitely going to try to keep this one around, amazing citrus smell still but it has a bit of a weed/hash smell in the background now, just enough to get you exited but not enough to detract from the citrus. The other one smells nice too and stretches a lot more but there's about half as many pollen sacs and the node distance is like twice as long so not going to waste the space keeping it around but I will collect some pollen first just in case

No probs makes sense
I'll start germinating some beans tonite I paper towel then put into solo cups and go from there
May as well go 24/0 with the T5 then upside slightly then flip just gotta time it for a small tent with stretch
Hell if I get the bug I'll grab a bigger tent down the track and light ( maybe a cob led 300 for a 3x3 footprint but u guys can help out there)
For now I'm just happy to test the waters and kill some boredom
Gd excuse to put some reg fems out early in October outside for a small spring harvest

ruby might catch fire if he played with electricity :fire:
there really isnt much to it. its more daunting in your head.
positive and negative, that is almost all you need to know. you also need to make sure you buy the right driver etc but thats all basic maths. like 5 x cobs running at 50w so your driver needs to be able to handle 250w. that sort of thing.

there is plenty of info around on the forums

Yeah I know its not hard - rewired my led panel yesterday that I had to break down into parts for the move. The worst part was screwing in the million fucking screws and nylon washers I used to fix them to the aluminium sheet.

Still, with that finger ruby'll be fucked wiping his arse let alone building a light

That electricity stuff is a piece of piss just join up any old wire with some tape and screw a few screws in and it’s done,a little shock never hurt anyone it’s actually good for you
