Besides, like I said, my bewilderment is why in general forum members keep using such an archaic metric when a perfectly fine industry wide metric is available.
Not my intention to make such a big deal about it, but it truly does not make sense to me

Those are the 1120mm single row samsung stripa, I think they are 28$.And these are what and how much a pc?
WTF.... 26X$28........$728 for those stRips??Those are the 1120mm single row samsung stripa, I think they are 28$.
That light is I think 600w or around there
Well depending on where he got them. There is usually a price break at 10 or 25. And arrow can be a bit cheaper than digikey. So I was just going with digikey 28$ for 1.WTF.... 26X$28........$728 for those stRips??
But at 1120 mA they're 9,000 lumens, and 50watts. So 25 of them would be like 1250watts right?!Well depending on where he got them. There is usually a price break at 10 or 25. And arrow can be a bit cheaper than digikey. So I was just going with digikey 28$ for 1.
They are 17.22$ on arrow, but an 8 week lead time.
600w, using an hlg-600h-48bBut at 1120 mA they're 9,000 lumens, and 50watts. So 25 of them would be like 1250watts right?!
But you could easily just use 8-10 of them , heatsinked, at like 1400MA for 65w a piece and get 520-650 right? Whether thats through 2 hlg-320's or the hlg600?600w, using an hlg-600h-48b
But I was just showing how they can support themselves.
Yea you definitely could. But hes going for efficiency and spread over lower build cost. The penetration and efficacy of the light is extremely good. You reply so quick Man, haha. Respect.
With the 25 strips Ya. You'd still have kick ass spread with9 in a 4X4Yea you definitely could. But hes going for efficiency and spread over lower build cost. The penetration and efficacy of the light is extremely good. The thread says 1250 ppfd everywhere in the tent
Arrows software is a bit misleading on the price of out of stock items. It will display the lowest bulk discount price, which for the Samsung strips is considerably less than the single piece price. Their prices actually follow Digikey's prices pretty closely, by maybe half a buck.Well depending on where he got them. There is usually a price break at 10 or 25. Actually before I ordered on digi key I got a quote on arrow and they stayed the same for the 44"ersi just don't like the 2 months lead time lol.Arrows software is a bit misleading on the price of out of stock items.
