For the butter or the tincture lol? I've researched both but as youd expect you get some sayin' aye and others saying nay so I thought I'd post. My intended use is.....to drink it and get high lol?
THAT seems like a lot for a 750 ml bottle I've seen recipes calling for one ounce over a LITRE of Everclear, though I don't doubt your personal experience. Could it have been weak stuff you used or have you made multi batches?
On my second batch, first batch was Ok with 1.5 oz but 2 oz. is much better from a strength perspective. I use straight up top shelf bud from a mix of about 10 strains, strength of the weed isn't an issue. I make coconut oil caps mainly for edibles, using sift from the same bud and those knock me on my ass at about 100mg.
Ah ok fair point, I was under the impression lower proof just meant you had to steep it longdr
Yeah, not so sure that holds or how long "longer" would be with lower alcohol content. It'd be a shame to wait 5-6 weeks for something so-so in strength. Good luck.
What's shatter? I assume kiff? The bits that break off the buds and gather at the bottom?
Yeah that'd suck. I've got a quarter of sugar trim and a quarter of a plant that flowered in winter so it was all crystals and leaf fuck all bud, stewing in some butter atm if that turns out strong I might save up a half for a batch of butter every couple of months instead
hopefully blows my mind I have a pretty high tolerance though so we'll see
