Losses in my area are in the billions. One of the largest financial loss fires in the state. More erupt on the daily. Resources are thin and tired. Still have months left to go in this years fire season. The local economy here is upside down. Housing and jobs are crazy. Property values have doubled while you're lucky to be able to find insurance. This is a problem that will need to be addressed on a large scale. Going to be interesting to watch.
