Green Dragon potency with isi nitrous oxide vrs slow methodology?

Has anyone played around much using the rapid infusion technique (isi nitrous oxide) to make Green Dragon?

I'm curious about how it might be different from the slow traditional method. More or less potent? Other advantages or drawbacks? It's certainly quick and easy, I'm experimenting myself this very moment, but curious if anyone has any experience. Have two batches going right now, the 1st batch I decarbed traditionally in an oven at 240 then used the N2O for rapid infusion. 2nd batch experimenting with decarbing post nitrous oxide infusion using a double boiler at 200 degrees with the isi canister in the double boiler.

Attached is the finished product (thus far.) Mason jar on the left is N2O infusion followed by a water bath to decarboxylate. Mason jar on the right is decarb in the oven followed by N2O infusion with no additional heat. Used 10.5 grams of flower and 400mL everclear for both batches.

Radically different colors, deep rich green vrs more of a pale yellow green.
Does any one have experience on how/if color related to potency? I would guess, deeper color means more potent, and yet the color could also be caused by any number of other factors.

So far subjective taste test of the left jar - a single sublingual drop produced a very mild high. I'll reduce further to up the intensity. Both have a pleasurable herbal aroma without some of the bitterness, which makes sense as the isi rapid infusion technique was developed by cocktail wizards as a way to 1) rapidly make infusions and bitters, and 2) best for materials that become too bitter with long infusion techniques (my understanding is the rapid infusion is more effective with some compounds and less effective with others, would love to see lab results related to 420 specifically with N2O.)

Similar experiment for concentrate.

We extracted with ethanol and NO2 once and it worked out well for concentrate, but we never did get the lab results back, because my partner in the experiment dabbed it all up before it made it that far. Everyone who tried it liked it, but no empirical numbers to tell whether the NO2 had any effect.

We caught the NO2 in a balloon afterwards, and passed it around. It was ragged and hard on the lungs.

Researching afterwards, I discovered an issue with black smut in the NO2, similar to the mystery oil issue.

The concentrate was good, but didn't knock our socks off, so i didn't repeat the experiment, though I do have a spritzer and bunch of NO2 caps left.

Interesting. Do you remember any details about the "black smut" N2O issue? Is it more an issue with concentrates? The N2O rapid infusion method is a reasonably well used practice now in the cocktail and food world and I haven't otherwise seen or heard any warnings.

In terms of this experiment, I'm pretty happy with the results, but going to play around with a few new ideas to increase potency. Plus, might pull back potency a bit and try this with more interesting alcoholic bases for fancy cocktail experiments. I've heard Mezcal in particular is a fantastic base for the herbal flavors.

If you discharge a NO2 cartridge through a white filter, it will leave black residue. Here is an article:
