Your government puts up a law that says you cant smoke this plant unless your absolutely dying from some disease, and even then they can still choose to steal it from you or not, and call that legal. Your the one whose keeping the system fucked by agreeing to their unreasonable terms and conditions and abandoning the rest of the MJ smokers, and setting up on your high horse shouting down below "Don't smoke unless these guys with the badge says it's ok, boo hoo, or else they'll take my card away..." Not sure about Padawa, but I for one know that the DEA is an evil, evil group of people whose mere fact of existence shreds our Constitution. All drugs should be legal and regulated at most. Plant drugs should be legal period.
Because it's simply wrong to imprison people who choose to use substances that you don't like. I don't like crack and meth either, but that doesn't mean I have a right to imprison others for using it.
It's cheaper to pay for recovery than it is for a jail cell. Not only do you have to pay for the cell, but then you lose the tax base from a typically somewhat productive member of society. Not all addicts are homeless and jobless.
