This is pure, unadulterated bullshit, and Trump Tweeted today that the Chinese were being especially "vicious" to American farmers "because they know that I love them" (I want to vomit)
All he really loves is their dumb ass votes.
Also I just want to know just what they, the farmers, and going to do with all that extra grain, soybeans, pork and beef now that they have been almost tariffed out of existence, because the boycotts of American goods has already started in China, and they ain't going to buy shit from us unless they absolutely have too, and knowing some Chinese, they'd rather starve than bow down to anyone.

Some farmers aren't too bright. I met some farmers complaining about their neighbors suing them because they apart cancer causing pig waste into the air to drain their waste lagoons. All of these farms sell their pigs to Chinese owned Smithfield. Smithfield refuses to help with modernizing equipment that would turn the waste unto electricity. I explained that smithfield should be paying the lawsuits or help to defray equipment costs and they stared at me blankly and changed the subject. Blink blink

In happier news, Ivanka is shutting down her clothing business so she can focus on her political future. Or in other words, her company's profits are down 45% in the last 12 months. Who knew that Chinese people that make $30 bucks a month couldn't afford a $200 pair of shoes. So much winning.

it's going to sit and rot but trump will put food baskets together instead of SNAP..remember he had that idea boxes of food like the old days?..go pick up a chunk of cheese like during wartime.

the big issue? american farmers will be replaced by other countries at the market..lose their spots and not able to get it back.

Sorry new member but we don't take kindly to folks that come in here and overwhelm us with details and facts to back up their claims.
You mean like cancer causing pig effluent?
I'm having a hard time finding any evidence of that, although it does make sense if you consider what livestock is fed.

The industrialization of farming IS going to turn all food that way, and has if you consider Monsatan [now Bayer].
Most family farmers consider their land a legacy for their progeny and so are the most adverse to using herbicides/insecticides and petroleum derived fertilizers on their land.
Corporate farms have no such qualms.
I'm all for farm subsidy IF has a stipulation for family owned acreages, or those of 320 acres and less.

Think about that the next time you have chips and salsa with the undisclosed ingredient of glyphosate.

Think about it the next time you soy milk your latte and enjoy the extra ingredient of dicamba.

Think about if your "gluten intolerance" might be because of the use of RoundUp to make wheat harvests uniformly "ripe" early in the season.

These herbicides have been roundly approved by the USDA and FDA which should make you wonder if gov't is protecting your health or corp. profits.

Interestingly enough to advocate here, more people should have gardens and not have to worry about what was done to their food before they eat it because a personal garden makes sure you know.

Think of it this way, do you want to smoke gov't produced dope? ;)

I dunno about any Infowars products, but I'll gladly serve you up a glass of Roundup. ;)
I was using the cheap-o version the other day to kill some invasive noxious weeds on the back 40 last week. Adding some surfactant to it really speeds up the dying especially in the hot sun.

And I'm flattered that you keep winking at me but I only date Capricorns.

But you won't drink any?
Why not?

If you think a wink can only be from salacious intent, you may need to limit your porn consumption. :D

Why do you post in the politics forum? Your posts are more appropriate in tokentalk where people are expected to ramble on without making a point.
