CMH growers are pulling up to 2gpw, i don't think switching from the best current lighting situation to a lesser one would be a great idea...

Why people still DIY led to get 1.5gpw on average??? Newbies pull 1gpw easy with COB!
Do they pull 2gpw from seeds with 4 weeks vegg without CO2 and a/c...or is it from clones in a controlled area with CO2 hydroponics system and 8 weeks vegg? Because there is 2gpw and 2gpw if you know what I mean...i only pull 1.4gpw but I have only a fan and an extractor fan and I need 110 days from seeds to harvest(i mostly grow hybrids so 65 days bloom and the rest vegg)

Phillips 315 3100k has the highest tested par.
Ushio has highest tested uv and 15% less par.
This is according to growers house testing.
All others were weaker.
I have done 15 oz under a Phillips 315 and 22 oz under a Hortilux 600w super hps.
Just posting for reference. Too much hype about everything so often.

Math is not your strong suit.....315x2 = 630.....and there's many people pulling over a pound per run for a single cmh just check some grow logs or even better yet why don't you test something out and find out for yourself.

if i had time i would do a test grow with my cmh only but i got too much going on right now to deal with that, many are getting 450-550g from a single cmh i got a solid pound+ from my last run with my cmh, did 4 plants 2 hydro 2 organic all white fire og which is a good yielding og but not really a great yielder compared to others.

Very well thank you! I was in Spain growing and building cxb pannels and after 1 year and a half they said thanks we gonna take the guy who follow you since a year because it is cheaper for us and since we can copy everything you did you can go back to France!!! So now I will wait for legalisation in my country and start my own farm! But despite that it was a fantastic experience and I learn a lot about large grow(it was like a jail...no electronic device/camera everywhere/security...etc!)

Ok I was thinking cmh get a serious upgrade while I was using cxb but ok I understand there is still people who believe that HID lightning is still competitive because they buy it...it is not easy to get 1gpw in normal condition so twice that looks impossible to me...thanks!

Sorry I just went too fast...don't worry for my math! So it is about 1.3gpw! With a/c hydro system and I bet CO2! I get the same or more without even and extraction just a fan and my COB...and tap water all along!!!
I saw cxb3590 pulled 2gpw in organic soil(Growmau5) so in a very controlled environment/hydro/genetics and co2 I bet you can go over 2gpw...and now with the new Samsung QB288 I guess it will be even more!!!
When I started growing 1gpw was an urban legend now with COB any newbie can pull 1gpw so 2gpw is the Graal but I bet in the next 2 years we are going to see 3gpw and it will not come from any HID!!

Ok cause you top your plants!?! I don't...never hurt my girls!!! I can do the same thing just by training it bend it pinch it twist it...i am a fan of torture!!! Ok it is much more work but I only need 4 weeks 5 if it is pure indica vegg! My plants looks like an human skeleton chest(spine is the main stem and ribs are the branches it look like this after harvest) what I do is I twist every pair of branch to have every branches grow in the same direction so i don't need to top! I will take a picture to show you what I mean if you are interested in saving time against your time!
