Wait for it. After Trump blames the Democratically controlled House of Representatives for his recession, Trump and his GOP backers will loose their hounds against the media liberals and people of color. We are just seeing the beginning.
Thats why part of me thinks them keeping the majority but by even slimmer margins may, if democracy cud survive it, tee things up for more solid political control by the left... dont get me wrong im gunna fite to win but theres something to be said for taking away a foyl he would love to have...being able to demonstrate what 4 years of gop rule does may get set the trajectory to longer unified control from the left..
One thing i do know
If i was in charge of the dnc i would have a main point person for the party always offer an alternative vision for policy not just a resistance message... almost an, "if we were in the whitehouse this would be the likely agenda, delivered with the charisma and charm of Reagan and Obama on all of Trumps agenda.... now this person cant be 2020 candidate as they are going to be beat up politically at tbat point, but they would also take a step back once we had our nominee... we have to communicate what our agenda will be not just stopping Trump(which i agree with too) and its gotta be someone like a kennedy, reagan or obama in terms of inspirational oratory.
