See I find it weird....
Never before this yr have I ever sprayed ANYTHING on my plants.
This yr I've only sprayed cal mag a couple of times and the rest of the time was silica.

We get down to low 50s and sometimes high 40s every night with so much dew everywhere that your shoes get soaked from just walking in mowed grass.
I've only had 1 plant get bad bud rot (fresian dew) and my blue dreams a couple just had a few buds affected on a couple of plants. ....
I'm wondering if people get rot because they foliar feed (acidic environment) and that is the second thing that mold and mildew needs to grow.

Just a theory.

I will only foliar feed in full sun and low RH (never above 59RH) where i live there are not many days falling into these criteria. Maybe 6-10 times thru entire grow. The way they respond to it is jaw dropping. Only ever spray pistils with serenade. Won't spray a few hours before dark. Won't even spray if the RH is rising mid day. Point is I'm extremely careful foliar feeding but they LOVE it.
Mold lives in the dirt and enters thru any damage the plant has. Plant carries it like a virus. Mold waits for perfect conditions to attack. If you have it one year and don't sterilize the soil it will be waiting. My guess is your doing an excellent job of keeping it at bay. The bacteria also lives other places not just soil but that is its base. Stagnant water, decomposing plant materials, can even go airborne. Once its in your garden you will have to nuke the soil or get good at kicking its ass.

Potroast {or one of the other mods} commented on a thread to never spray if the sum of the temp and humidity was more than 150. That means I could never spray.

I believe that is meant for indoor. Plant will stop transpiring in high heat which is unavoidable outdoors with CC greenhouse. No breathing=no growing. Photosynthesis still happens but they just store it up. This is perfect time to liquid feed or any immediately available food. A.k.a. slow release fert. Spraying the leaves immediately raises RH to 100% Kickstarts growth. Excessive spraying of leaves isn't good and this is my technique so try at own peril lol

It was a couple of three years ago. so my memory isn't exact. But I think he was talking outdoors too. 75F and 75% humidity is too hot and wet for spraying.

I spray neem until 2nd week of flower. Then BT as needed.

Hmm. At 75f 75% she is already approaching PM's wheelhouse. VPD would say to do the opposite of spraying.

My lows are in the low 70's, highs in the low 90's. Most mornings the RH is in the 90's. {if you walk outside, your feet get wet} It rains all summer and the longest day of the year is 14 hours 7 minutes. But other than that, it's perfect growing down here.

I got a bottle of Serenade off of Amazon. Just haven't used it yet. PM isn't really a problem for me. It's been bud rot on all the crazy early stuff I had this year. {it rained almost everyday in June and July, and some of my plants started flowering in late May} I've chopped 5 so far with bud rot. Two of which were real close to being finished.

I do fight bud rot with H2O2, but I only get to my patches once a week, and you can lose whole plants in just a day or two. So when I saw the 2nd or 3rd spot, I chopped if it was close.

Ya your up against it for sure. I really dislike growing in pots outside but probably suits your grow perfectly. Sterile pots and medium would give advantage.
