her support for Assad and through him, Putin
"In January 2017, Gabbard made a secret "fact-finding" mission to Damascus and met with diverse civil society groups as well as government officials, including Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.[130][131] In April 2017, after the Khan Shaykhun chemical attack killed at least 74 civilians and injured hundreds more, Gabbard called for a UN investigation into the attack and the prosecution of Bashar al-Assad in the International Criminal Court if he is found to be responsible.[132][133] After President Trump ordered the 2017 Shayrat missile strike targeting the Syrian airfield believed to be the source of the attack, Gabbard called the strike reckless and expressed skepticism that Assad was responsible for the attack, which led to sharp criticism from former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean as well as Center for American Progress President Neera Tanden."

Or that those people are lying or mistaken. Whatever makes enough people believe it could have been ISIS seems to have some evidence as well.(that's who the other option is right?)
For myself, I dont care and the last thing I want is to be dragged into yet another conflict on "humanitarian reasons" where we then "humanely kill thousands of people" yes the world has a lot of problems, I dont think it's our job to solve them right now. So I dont care about this "who used what and when debate" honestly after G.W. i got really burnt on the whole idea.
Are you posting from the guest bedroom after prepping the bull for your wife?

Seems like I hit pretty close to the mark about your raging trump crush.
I kinda feel bad for you with as much as you let slip about your issues... and I really think you need a professional therapist.

If lying? You don't care that Gabbard lied when she endorsed the Sarin false flag conspiracy theory concocted by Assad and Putin?
If mistaken? You don't care that Gabbard was duped by Assad and Putin's propaganda?

I don't care about what you care about. Facts and truth are what I care about. The facts coming from that region are convicing that Sarin was dropped by Assad's air force during more than one air raid. The next bit about the false flag story is "why would we do it when we were winning" is shown to be false because the last air drop of Sarin caused the collapse of all resistance in the region, effectively sealing Assad's control for of Syria.

I'm going to ignore your attempt to deflect away from Gabbard. I will repeat that her support for Assad and through him, Putin along with her repeated claims about the Sarin false flag conspiracy theory being true is a big black mark against my supporting her come 2020.

Sounds like a level headed move to get facts before letting missles fly to me.

I didn't know any of this, but makes me like her more. Ty for sharing.

Nothing in your post refutes what I've been reading. Later in 2017, Gabbard repeated exactly what I'm posting, that Gabbard endorsed the false flag conspiracy theory:

In April, after a sarin-gas attack in Syria, Gabbard said that she was “skeptical” of claims that Assad’s government was to blame. Howard Dean, the former D.N.C. chair, responded on Twitter, “This is a disgrace. Gabbard should not be in Congress.”

Gabbard doesn't support Assad. She supports due process and justice

so why would any intelligent person spew about conspiracy theories regarding the sarin gas attack in syria, where russia is heavily invested?

she's compromised by putin.

Referring to Pad's post, what part of: Gabbard called the strike reckless and expressed skepticism that Assad was responsible for the attack,

Don't you understand?

She met with and supports Assad retaining control of Syria.
To keep it out of the control of ISIS, just like Iraq

That doesn't means he supports Assad or his policies or his government. She simply believes, as any rational person would, that toppling one dictator to replace him with another will do no good for the citizens of Syria

It's a nuanced geopolitical position, I wouldn't expect you to understand her reasoning

It’s so nuanced that it is exactly what Putin wants

I simply dont care. You keep hoping I'll care, and I continue to not.

I dont care to keep invading places and killing people all over the world to replace one dictator for another to continue the forever war.

We have plenty of problems here at home. Too many homeless, too many hungry. Less missiles more meals.
