Update: Watered all plants today

Pic 1&2- La Blanca Fem: Been doing a second round of topping, bending, and tien down branches.

Pic 3&4- Clone: Just bent top branches down, goong to tie them down in a minute. Top all top branches the other day to see if i can get it to start growing even nodes again.

Pic 5- 9th week from flip, still growing strong despite the mite problem.

Just to be clear, the uneven nodes will not stop once it starts.

I also try not to top right before flowering. I time it so im not topping within a couple weeks if possible.

But that is my preference.
My belief is that it takes time for hormones to get where they are going after topping so I like them to be in place when needed.

Again that is my opinion. Could be horseshit.

Thanks for the info about the uneven nodes.

You right about the topping before flowering, thats why i dont plan on flipping until my other plant is harvest and so i can give the flowering area a nice scrub down because of the mites.

Ok, I'll try and play nice, although I mite have been one of the one's wishing for mites.

I'm a huge fan of mighty wash, during veg. Flower? I'm not sure. I read that it is safe to apply during flower but, they all say that.
Someone apparently has used it during flower, few minutes before lights out and then a water rinse at first light. Still not too sure about that.
I also read, that soy bean growers use alkaline water and coconut oil. Something I read but have yet to research. You can make alkaline water.

1 gallon Alkaline water
1tsp coconut oil(or any organic oil substitute).
heat too roughly 120*
mix oil into water and stir or shake vigorously.
DONE.

I assume shake well and spray your girls...

Hater lol. But appreciate your help, think I'm gone stay away from spraying anything on buds. Just gone ride this grow out. Figured in the wild and even just outdoor grows, that plants have some type of tolerance for mites or we wouldn't have plants on Earth. I know it's in mature thinking but I'm so far along and plant seems to still be packing on new buds everyday. Got some leaves turning brown, and other leaves with all the damn mite bites, but she still don't look like shes suffering or dying.

Now do you think it could be a sudden change and the mites really start attacting the plant, killing off colas overnight?

Yes. Bugs multiple hella fast! Mites hatch every 3 days or so. That's why miticides says spray every 3 days. I think that's overkill.
I think it was mentioned, you can knock them off with water, does nothing for the eggs and then you risk mold... but if done right those things can be avoided.
If you just let it be, they could start wrapping your buds with webs. you'll smoke some weed that crackles. It's webbing and dead mites.

You're kinda in a bad spot. Lessons learned, right?
Biggest thing for you to focus on now is your other plants. Start treating them as if they are infested and if you haven't, keep the plant that is infested, segregated from the others! That bitch better be under quarantine

Oh and killing colas over night? No.

Its not over night, it is the result of a sustained attack, also this late in flower you probably have the plant eating itself.

Mightywash use to be safe as far as I know.
I used it years ago and was under the impression it was some kind of charged water. Meaning it was attracted to and wrapped itself around the might so it couldn't breath.
It was expensive though if you had more than a couple large plants.

If you have chosen to ride it out I would for sure use manual removal daily.

I like the mild iso water on a cotton ball to wipe the underside of the leaf.

Once you harvest hang the plant/branches upside down and as it begins to dry the remaining live mite population will climb up to the end of the stem and die/leave.

I have heard of people using tangle foot to trap them. But I have no experience.

You have to control them or you will get webbing on your buds as others have mentioned

Dankx for the input and ima be getting some neem or some other organic pesticide that I can get my hands on.

Lesson learned that
1- if I'm going to grow indoors, stay indoors.
2- spray plants down before Flowering
3- stick to my own shit( kind of feel like I got the mite outbreak when I listened and stop take my plants outside everyday)
4- keep a eye under the leaves

I would spray the plant but yeah not trying to risk mold and add another problem I could of avoided.

I'm moving soon, so all the plants I have are for learning and hands on experience. Next go round I know what not to do and what I can do. It's also good to know that I can get some helpful feedback from the ones that think I'm a dumb grower lbvs?

Ok so I'm trying to make some tea with my left over worm casting.

Questions is can I substitute molasses for best choice syrup? Which has corn syrup and high fructose syrub in it.

Or get some straight corn syrup or some type of molasses?

Appreciate you trying to help a brother out.
Get what you saying with the light dep, but might not work for me because I'm at work at night 4 days a week. Might just have to ride this out with these damn mites.

However, do you think I should at least take my plants outside during the day, if it would help with the mites or make it worst?
My plants are use to the sun, but before I knew I had spider mites and y'all told me I was db for taking it outside because of mites, I kind of slowed down on taking it outside. Only when I water. But now you making me feel it would be a good idea to go back to having them outside every day.
Don't smoke mite doodoo infested bud.

Get a bottle of captain Jack's spinosad.

At least take them outside and hose them down a few times.
