One argument bigots like to use when arguing in bad faith is “why would gay people want a wedding cake from people who don’t like them?”hmmm, that's not quite how I took it. I "think" he's saying he wont eat food from some nut who may taint it with...well...maybe their taint?

It is their way of justifying bigoted denial of service while trying to sound like they are on the side of the gay people they are bigoted against
It is no different than the argument racists use about denying service to black people, citing that forcing businesses to serve black people would just make them more bitter, and food might get spat on
I like to ignore the feelings of the bigots and argue that no citizen should face denial of service for their skin color or sexual orientation
We tried that before 1964 and it was disastrous
