Most vital factor for yeild

What would you guys say is the most important part of growing that determines yield. Speaking both quantity and quality.

I've been told that the amount you yield can vary between 1 gram for every 0.5-1 watt of energy used in lighting, determining in skill, and as far as quality goes, that's where nutrients and feed schedule all come into play, but I wanna hear what other people think.

I agree with ganga gurl. But, if I had to pick one thing, that plays the most vital role, assuming you have light, is the length of time you veg for. a plant vegged at 6 weeks versus 4 is probably going to yeild an extra 2-3ounces. 2 weeks can and does make that much of a difference. Check out this link, there's a whole experiment done with veg times, and what their respectful yield was. It's a good read. Nice pics too. https://www.420magazine.com/community/threads/how-vegetative-growth-time-exponentially-affects-yield.197522/

Nothing holds more sway over your end yield than lighting. That includes having both proper spectrum and sufficient wattage. Quality genetics, training/time in veg, and proper nutrition/overall health are all important factors but you cannot grow huge buds without proper lighting. Nutrients matter little; nothing from a bottle or in the soil will make bigger buds. There are ways of training that help increase yields like super and/or monster cropping, manipulation of light cycles, and scrog net trellising but you still need light powerful enough to penetrate a thick canopy in order to grow donkey dick colas. The secondmost important thing that influences yield is patience.

Veg times are important unless you're doing a SOG. Genetics are important because a low yielding strain will never hit that gpw. Lighting is important because you can only yield as much as the wattage you provide. Nutrients are important as well because a malnourished plant won't do the best it can. I would say no one thing is more important than the other.

In a fine tuned room you can see a vast difference running shitty genetics compared to good well known ie were properly bred. However it’s a crap shoot if you have a shitty environment those same stellar genetics simply aren’t able to produce like they should. In the long short of it all everything play an integral part but I simple view genetics as the big player only due to the fact that everything else is in order.
