It’s 2 left but I suspect one is a male. So from the 11 pack so far it’s been 1 female, the rest males and duds.
dammn thats crap odds, i got that sort of thing recently with Exotic Genetix Candy Apple Kush, only 1 girl out of 8 not herm, cant see myself buying anymore from that brand

Do they even test beans? They seem like they make crosses and then just put them out not tested. Not trying to dog anyone or poison their well, but i’ve heard they do the whole turn ‘n burn. With constant mixes coming out it seems like that. Look how many Tina and Cookie crosses, a Fuck ton. Cookies are herm prone from what i’ve heard from breeders

It sucks lol. I may be done with regular seeds, it’s heartbreaking.
Naw beans are where it’s at! Whom have you purchased yours from? And what?

Sol , Dc Seed exchange, seeds here now
Thug, Worm, Compound , Symbiotic

Idk what’s going on but all these boys & duds are problematic, it doesn’t seem like a 50/50 split. I’m looking at Fems for the next run. Don’t wanna resort to clones in my tent.

i think a lot of breeders now are throwing ethics out the window to release as many new types as they can to keep up with new brands types, with very little or no testing before release, it will end badly for them as they will loose long term buyers of their strains

Thug pug, Big worm, Symbiotic, Compound & Melvanetics. The melvanetics had a normal ratio, the compounds were free. I also got the Cannarados free during a promotion.
I can’t speak on anyone of those. I also want to be clear that I’m a noob at growing as this is my fourth grow (cannabis and 4th season veggies). I have been on this website for ten years with of course times of inactivity.

Sorry about The ratios and herms. I got really lucky with the current grow. I had three seedlings, one died indoors, then another died outdoors. the one that stayed alive has beautiful leaves, like they remind me of the illustrations of hemp/cannabis in textbooks, just so happened to be a female.

It’ll be an interesting next few years with total legalization on the horizon. I do believe though, the creme will rise to the top

I haven’t experienced a hermi yet , they just don’t sprout. Some are tiny and burnt even scuffing didn’t help. I really hope so because it just seems like it’s too many breeders pollen chucking everywhere.

it will be interesting, unfortunate for those who have to wade through the herms & bad germination rates to find that cream, as some of the reliable banks are not as reliable as before, if you can pollen chuck your own it may be a better way to obtain what you like...& with thousands of seeds as a result

I've had pretty good germ rates with Ocean Grown seeds. Only have grown out the B-Witched (now at Spartan genetics?), the Dark Helmets I'm logging now had 100%, lost the one due to me probably putting them in the live dirt to soon but it tried. Why no clones? I like keeping the same plant around, it feels like an old friend..

I meant buying clones from the dispensary, I’m afraid of PM & bug infestation. I’ve heard decent things about Ocean Grown, also HSO. Looking at Fems from now on.

Yeah my friend gifted me some strains a while back, along with spider mites. Turned into quite the education! I have a little keeper vault though. Deciding on which moms to cut is WAY more difficult than I'd Imagined, perhaps I'm to sentimental, but I'll have to if the DH run goes well and there is a keeper there. Have you considered using CS to create your own fem seeds? Haven't done it yet, but from what I understand you can treat just one branch and produce enough fem pollen but not so much that it ruins the whole grow. I'm sure there's an in depth thread here somewhere.

That’s why I’m afraid to do clones . I started with them and one had PM. No, I haven’t tried to make fems, only regulars. I’m trying to keep things simple because imo I’m still wet behind my ears lol.

I'm doing regs now, and bought two .999 silver rods to make CS, but I'm not at a stage where I'm running something I want to s1 yet. Doing f2 bWitched and crossing it with Dancehall as we speak :leaf: I like keeping strains and growing them over and over but space is what it is and moms take a lot more room than seeds

I guess all you need to make colloidal silver is two pieces of pure as possible silver, 2 wires with alligator clips on the ends, a bubbler air stone thingy, a glass, water, and some 9 volts. Or apparently you can use an old cell charger. I'm going to start with the battery method, unplugged, outside lol. Last thing I want to do is explain to the insurance company that my house was on fire because I was trying to change the sexual inclinations of plants.

I personally would never bring another plant in but some people do. I'm growing hso black d.o.g. right now from recommendations from a thread called 'best purple strains' or something like that, also I'm not into regulars, pain-in-the-ass don't have time or space, jmo
