The one posted in this thread was wrong. I had to google it.I called the 855 number.
They never answer for me.I called the 855 number.
Thank you! Well said and I couldn't agree with you more. You know it's going to take at least 90 days and could be 110 days from the time they got it. Stop with the calling and calling. II did e-mail them to get the reply that they received my application and that it would be processed in the order it was received. They will contact you by email if they need any information. I'm waiting too because that's what you have to do. It sucks, but that's the way it is.You are at less than 60 days, you know they have it because you made them sign for it. I repeat you are less than 60 days in AND you KNOW they received, what else do you need to talk to them about? You've got 30+ days until you get your card, that's the just of it. The more you people keep calling the more you are slowing the process down for yourselves and everyone else. I was told when I applied that sending them an email was THE ONLY WAY to communicate with them and it would take 90-110 days. So at day 60 after finding this thread I did call to see if they had it, then waited, and guess what! It arrived without me nagging them for the entire 90 days
Maybe it's the 12+ years in the military that's made me so good at waiting, I just noticed you mentioned your dd214 so you know what I'm saying too! It's total bullshit, the whole process, but it is what it is.Thank you! Well said and I couldn't agree with you more. Well other than knowing they have received it, why could you possibly need to waste their time? You are at around day 60 today, yes? So you still have 30+ days.. OK. Then.Wow. Alright then.
This is just so frustrating.
Well it’s gotten way worse and I think he has done a terrible job. Plus, I am less likely to find work for me or my family. I never supported Rauner and won’t. Frankly, a Chicago liberal for Governor sounds great to me.
You are on a Cannabis related board in a medical marijuana section telling me to vote for a guy that opposes legal marijuana and tried to veto medical marijuana. Lol. Pretty absurd.
You want me to do this because you seem to believe an attack ad. Sorry but no.
Plus I think it’s kinda selfish to demand others vote for the candidate because “life has gotten better for me”. I almost had my healthcare taken away by Rauer.
I don’t really feel like I have to explain myself or owe anything to you. Back to my original question.
Has anybody had recent experience with direct online applications recently? I am wondering if some of the dispensaries haven’t been throwing stuff back on the state.
Also, people keep talking about calling the Secretary of State. I have been getting through via the online portal and 1-800 number
It was a Monday, they said I had been Approved Friday on Day 97. They said sent for printing, expect 2 weeks. I had it in 2 days. I never heard anything from them. What did they tell you when you called on day 100? What day was it approved on compared to when you received it? Thanks.
Agreed. The reason I joined this thread is to make sure I'm not the only one that has to wait so damn long. I like the fact that people are reporting their timeline because it gives some us some idea of what to expect. Submitted 8/17 I have been looking every day to see if the check has been cashed. At this point it is so early that I am not holding my breath and have come to terms with the idea that I may not receive my card until sometime in November. This thread has helped to keep track of the potential process timeline. I remember when I applied for my FOID card they were expecting a 90 day return. The FOID card was in my hands in 33 days. The state of IL cannot be consistent with anything. You are at less than 60 days, you know they have it because you made them sign for it. I submitted online and paid August 18th. I’m right with you. From what I’ve calculated, we should see the card by November 8th or so. My Foid card was within 30 days as well. Keep us updated on anything you hear, especially when the check is cashed, and I’ll be doing the same. That will let people around our timeline figure out their wait.Agreed. Who is "hating" on you in this thread? My card is on the way. I’ll Tell you that there were a couple of mix ups on their end with my card and if I didn’t call they might not have been resolved for another month. So for all the haters out there good luck, but if what happened to me happens to you enjoy the next month or so waiting for no reason instead of calling.
Glade to hear someone else went thru pops 24/7 I was worried maybe they scammed me but I’m looking like early November late October thanks for postingToday appears to be my day.
Cert event thru Pops 24/7 and Windy City Cannibus: 6-15
Check cashed:8-17
103 days.
Advise to those who are waiting: Stop calling and calling and delaying the state working from process apps. Also fuck rauter and anybody who supports him. You are the problem.
