soma is a reputable breeder. I am going to buy Sensi seeds hashplant, it's 165 but I imagine it's worth it, it has a flowering time of 40 to 45 days! I would say it's worth it, get rid of a half and you have covered your costs...

no, i've seen extensive debates on a larger forum which soma and reservoir seeds have their own sections and the consensus is sour d destroys nycd. now i haven't smoked nycd but, from what i'm told there is a grapefruit pheno that is the shit. now sour d on the other hand has been apart of my stash since '06 and there have been very few strains the can hold a candle to it. lastly, let me address the price, i'm pretty sure your paying for the name not saying that's a bad thing because, from what i've researched the dude soma is definitelt a pioneer. anyway, if you check out sanniesshop.com and click on the breeders choice section they have somas nycd f2's for like $40. $200, $40, you be the judge, also, sannie was like nycd was decent herb, but, it wasn't very potent, so, if you consider yourself a high tolerance smoker nycd is probably not what your looking for. so, no chem in it, not that strong, you can get f2's at a fraction of the price, no diesel in the taste, but, from what i hear the grapefruit pheno is the shit.

It is not derived from chemdawg the mother of all. there for in my book it is not worth growing. not saying its not bomb, i just wouldnt grow the shit. try some LA Confidential it will blow your fucking mind.

i am about to germinate some soma nycd seeds as we speak and i noticed a female symbol on the package. it didn't say that the seeds were feminised when i bought them though... does anyone know if the soma nycd are feminized or not?

my grow room right now is 2x 600 watt hps.lights.soil grow organic fed.the plaqnts are 5 x soma nyc diesel, 2x th seeds heavy duty fruity 5x island sweet skunk----federation and my lone female LA CONFIDENTIAL. the la smells excatly like juicy fruit gum.

ive done the research on this strain and soma in general. and ive heard there are not really many phenos in this strain the f1 anyway that they are all grapefruity and dank.As far as being related to chemdog (the orginal f1 from which chemdawg and chemdawg dd and all the diesels (actually the orginal diesel was just the new york name given to the chemdog but was the same pot)were derived)Its up in the air.I heard soma got the seeds form a rasta friend in ny. who told him it is geneticly traced to the original nyc diesel.Any way im sure the f2 are cheaper they are less uniform with lots of different phenos and only one of them compares to the f1.So anyone here grown it out yet ? and got any pics

I got two diff pheno's from a pack of soma's NYCD in 06. The grapefruit pheno was one of them, but I have heard that soma has reworked his NYCD and it is a bit harder to find this grapefruit trait. Good luck.

He is not trying to make it undesirable........ it was reworked to stabilize it some. And the reworked version is much more sativa it seems. My info came directly from somas own site, look it up.

Isn't the grapefruit pheno the one you want ? Why would they rework for lower quality ?
