I had a chocolate pheno but it just reminded me of Tootsie rolls. Very sweet. Not much on it. I prefer the fruits. I do have a grape strain that tastes like wine or maybe champagne. Not much on it. Strawberry and blueberry are on my list. I had a pheno of bloodwreck that smelled like rotten meat. Ugh. I'm just amazed at the flavors out now.

Durban - bought some in Cortez CO en route to Oregon. My daughter wouldn't let me smoke much because she wanted to keep opening the bag to smell it. Incredible odor and flavor.

There are still heady pheno's of 18 around.. I like the one I got.
Check some of the clones in Cali going around. Well, that was last year so Not sure whats floating around now....Most likely a pheno geared more to concentrations.
Otherwise the whole question is simply too objective to really answer.
Got an original Blue Berry that is insanely like a Blue berry muffin, right from the oven.
Platinum Banana OG has got to be one of, if not the, strongest smelling and tasting strain I ever did...Simply open the container and heads turn in the whole room....
Like the taste of Bhodi's Citral Flo....
Sours? Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze...
So many to list, to hard to pick a "best"

I'm talking about 10 years ago on the OG18. I've ran 2 packs since plus numerous freebies from Tude and there's some OG in there for sure but not the skunky stuff the first released packs were. Even there regular OG Kush isn't the same, they lost one of the parents used in both I'm guessing
Speaking of SSSDH I got a SSSDH I crossed to Chemmy Jones about 8 years ago that I still run. Taste like teaberrygum with a sativa high, 1 of my favorites ever.

I getcha on the 18 but, The pheno I picked up last year.....Way old school.....The smell, and the taste. Brings you right back to when the line started. Could be an old original pheno. My BBerry is 31 years old.. Hasn't lost anything!
Mmm, The Jones family sours, Chemmy Jones and a SSSDH cross....Interesting!

I have 6 Blood Orange Seeds, that i got has freebies from Attitude Seeds.I have been told that there is a Pheno of this strain that is super Orange tasting,I just aint bothered with them because of there been no info out there,other than they was sent out has testers.Think it was a Crockett Family Farms,and DNA if i remember right ,may just be CFF Though.Been told by a few its just a super tasty pheno of Tangie,Now i aint done much with this strain either,apart from 24kg from DNA.And the taste from that was really nice very Citrus,But sweet too Mandarine i say the taste.But the yield was not very good,The final weight was still average,just small buds loads of them really compact.So be great if any one has done this,I was gonna use in in future breeding,just because of the Write ups i have seen,but most of these write ups have no pictures other,than the one Attitude seeds have of it
Orange Hill Skunk ,The Pink Pheno was and will be Special to me,Fond Memories from me been a yute with my Backayard crew.Most now living in the states.Bushman still out there doing his ting though.But Greenhouse Seeds, did a lot of Damage by leaving these growers with seeds, like Church and Lemon Haze,Lemon Skunk.Because my last visit it took me a day or so to source Orange hill pink skunk,Still have beans of it.But un sure there the real deal,Only thing that greenhouse did wrong over there.Took the Orange hill Skunk, Kutchie,away from there, and left them with feminized seeds.Don't mess with the Countries Genes.It was the Time frame that did it ,it shaved 3 week of each crop ,doing church.And now that is one of the main plants you will find over there and Lemon skunk or haze.The beans i have are of a flouro pink skunk ,but it also had a serious lemon smell,so im thinking lemon skunk x Orange Hill Skunk

I usually don't go for the long named strains but I did buy some Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze because I kept hearing about it. I noticed you listed it. Have you heard of these genetics? If so what''s your opinion. I haven't had the chance to grow any out yet.

But it's all good. I'm glad there are enough choices for everyone to have what they want. We don't all want the same things so choices and variety is good.

I got alot of experience with CSG, I use to be a main tester of his. Ran lots of SSSDH and her crosses, he uses a picture or 2 of mine on Attitude.Durban is outstanding as is Chocolope.

SSSDH can vary from sour phenos to lemony phenos to a incent churchy phenos which is my favorite. I call it thinking man's high where it puts you into deep thought. I've had guys say it reminds them of when they first got high. They take 9-11 weeks to finish but I like the 9 week ones. I've seen a few crappy phenos pop up with a looser swaggy look but mainly those came out when he did SSSDH x ECSD, they were the worst by far out of all SSSDH and her crosses I've ran.
I ran a pack of Rezs SSSDH IX also, was pretty much the same as CSGs since CSG used Rezs genetics.

So what I take from your post is I could get a phenomenal pheno from a variety of tastes or I could end up with some crappy pheno's. Par for the course. Thanks for the information. It's strange that they list it as a sativa when it's actually a hybrid. Close only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades.

This thread makes me jealous. I have a terrible sense of smell that really limits me in being a cannabis sommelier. I can smell it and all but the finer nuances escape me unless I pretty much shove it up my nostril. Doesn't effect me with my cooking a single much (thank god) but it's certainly a reason why I'll never beat Bobby Flay
