Nutes lockout / root rot ?

Hello everyone, I'll go with the rules first and then explain carefully my situation:

1) Pic in attachements
2) Growing indoor or outdoors: Indoor
3) Watering schedule: Water as soon as the soil gets dry
4) Growing Medium: Atami light mix
5) What stage of growth: 4-5 weeks into flowering

That's what happened:

There are TWO of them growing in the same pot, same strain (50/50 indica/sativa).
Since the first day of sprouting, there were very visible differences: the one on the left had shorter internodes, big leaves, typical indica strain characteristic, the other one (on the right) grew taller with thinner leaves.
Everything was going incredibly well until the flowering begun, the plant on the left stretched a lot more than the right one, its' leaves began yellowing really soon from the tips, all over, while the one on the right thrived as green as ever.

A week later, the sick one didn't show any sign of growth, and the right one began yellowing just like her sick sister did.
A week later again things got out of hand, the left one displayed those rusted marks and splotches, while the right one begun losing more and more green.
As of now, the left one hasn't grown in weeks, and I think the right one might be stunted for ever as well now.

What I've diagnosed:

I'm almost sure there's been one time when I've overwatered / overfed her... as both of them dislpayed burnt tips (presumably nutes burn)... I've flushed since then and tuned down the nuted but it doesn't seem like it has helped.
What might have been a nute lockout, I think has transformed in root rot, but I wouldn't know how to check for sure.

What do you think has really happened, what do you see here?
I gave up already on teh fact that I'll yeld terribly this season, and that's fine cause It'll help me not make the same mistaks again... But what now?
I have to end their suffering and kill them, should I do it as soon as I can or at least wait until all fan leaves turn completely yellow? What's the "less-worse"?

I didn't know it wasn't a good idea... It's the second time I do it and the first time brought me an excellent yield!

I followed the instructions provided me from the Biobizz manufacturers...
I used to fert her every other watering, but it seems it was too much... It's the first time I used this nutes and I clearly overfed them .

I'm not suggesting you won't get the plants to yield, but you won't experience their full potential. You're asking them to compete for feed, water, root space, etc. It's best to put one plant in one pot. I don't know that I'd mess with the plants too much at this point. Perhaps letting them finish, taking what you've learned and refining your grow is the more economical thing to do at this point.

So I'll let them finish... even if the left one looks completely blocked with her grow... When do you suggest I harvest them?

Should I wait for all the fan leaves to fall? I wouldn't want to reach the point where they eat their buds up to survive longer, as much as I don't want to harvest too soon.

When to harvest: You'll need to determine that my friend. I would be foolish and misleading to suggest otherwise. If you're 4 to 5 weeks into flowering, I would guess you're just over halfway finished. Otherwise you can observe the plants, your flowers and your trichomes and decide. For sure though, let them go for now and keep an eye on them.

If u think its root rot i would try using hydrogen peroxide 3% half water and see what that does. The H202 will deliver oxygen to the roots and kill off some of the rot in the roots. If your only half way and might loose it u have nothing to loose. Just add more nutes at a 1/4 strength after the H202 is dried out. Maybe a more experience guy or girl will have insight about it. I've used H202 before and it worked great because it killed the mold and helped my roots.

peroxide is good for root rot, if you're using 3% from the grocery store, start off at 25 ml per gallon, then drop by 5 each time till you get down to 12. you can give them 12 ml per gallon every time, without damaging the roots, and it'll keep your pots sterile. actually, once your sure the roots are good, you can start giving them 12 every other time.
i'm not sure it's roots though. i think you just over fed it badly. i'd run plain water through them the next couple of times you water, and get a little run off each time. then start feeding at 1/4 strength, every other watering. when you water in between, get a little run off, not a huge amount, but at least a quart or two

But since it looks like root rot should stink bad, and I smell no funny odors, maybe it isn't really the case

EDIT: Also, if I keep flushing... won't they just use even more nutes stored in leafs, forcing me to harvest even earlier?

But since it looks like root rot should stink bad, and I smell no funny odors, maybe it isn't really the case

overfeeding causes lockouts. the plant consumes ions, mostly cations of nutrients. the plant doesn't know which ions it's consuming. if there are way too may of any particular thing, the plant will absorb too much of that one thing, and not have any room for anything else. it's incapable of being selective, so you have to give it the proper ratio

yes, if you don't feed them after you flush. you want to give them a lighter supply, don't try to force it down their throats. the schedules that most nute companies give you are way too heavy. they want you to use up their product and buy more. they aren't that concerned with what kind of plants their nutes actually grow. always cut at least 25% off of their recommendations, until you have a chance to see how your plants are reacting to it. if you see any tip burn, or leaf tip clawing, back off even more. if you see light colored new growth, or continued cannibalism, step it up a little. at this point, they need a little extra N, but just a little, don't want to screw up your flowering cycle.
after you do your flushing, give them a couple of feedings with the veg part of your nutes, if you're using a multi part system, then go back to their recommended flower schedule

Okay... that's what I will do, thanks for your help.
Looking at them, how long do you think it's left in them? They should flower for at least 3 more weeks but I doubt that's gonna happen... Expecially the left one which is stuck at its second week of flowering T-T

you'd be surprised, straighten them out and they'll be ok. you won't get the yield you should, but you'll still get something, and i think more than you expect. the important thing now is to get them back on track asap..

That sounds hopeful... thanks Shrubber, I'll post updates if things don't get better.

I agree on over fed bloom nutes. They could probably handle a touch of N.
