Why Voss water is so expensive?
It's only famous because the company that produces it pays a lot to advertise it. And it's only expensive because they decided to price it that way. Technically speaking it's just tap water that happens to come from a particular aquifer in Norway. The same water source the locals use for everything.
Less Filling.....Great Taste.....

Tesla’s Gigafactory 3 is starting to attract the interest of China’s workforce

The development and progress of Gigafactory 3 has been remarkable so far, thanks in part to the Chinese government’s support for the project. Over the past months, state media has run multiple segments about how the state fully supports the construction of the factory. This support became quite evident when China made the rare decision to allow Tesla to become the sole owner of Gigafactory 3. The electric car maker’s bid for the 864,885-square meter plot of land in Shanghai’s Lingang area went unchallenged by any rival bidders as well. Apart from these, low-interest loans from local banks were also secured quickly, with local news site Beijing Business Daily noting that around 30% of the facility’s funds have been ready since October......
No way would I trust them. Soon there would be a Chinese knockoff on the market. The low cost of labor comes with a high price where intellectual property is concerned.

I'd like to see Tesla succeed because they have built a truly innovative car company.

I fear your assessment of their financial position is accurate and they're about to flame out in spectacular Silicon Valley fashion.

...which would be too bad, because they're nice cars the world needs more than ever.

GM on the other hand, hasn't seen a good idea yet that it can't shitcan, screw up or both.

They cancelled the Volt, a terrifically shortsighted idea.

I hope they succeed to. But trying to compete with the Japanese and European brands is always going to be damn hard. They should concentrate more on the more profitable and less competitive part of the business- Battery packs and solar technology rather than automobile manufacture.

Sexy cars grab headlines and bring in investment capital. Battery packs don't.

how do you feel about lottery?
I play the lottery for entertainment, I dont gamble with it. I throw 50-100 bucks a year at it for entertainment. Play the big lottos, couple Keno games, some scratch offs here and there while on the road, etc.

Playing for any other reason other than entertainment isn't desperate, its just dumb. It just doesn't pay.

I read somewhere that those fancy Lithiom ion packs do more environmental damage than the gas they save. Not sure on that one but something put in your pipe and smoke on... :)
Mining of, making of, charging of and the disposing of makes batteries arguably worse for the environment than a Petrol powered vehicle.
Expensive to replace the packs to and I don't think they have a very long life.

This isn't Silicon Valley....It's a parking lot in Pittsburgh Pa....

Tesla's for the win!

This is the actual reason for GM ending jobs. They've been getting pushed around in the market for a long time, decades actually. New companies are coming to take their place regardless.

If Trump was President when Blockbuster went under, ya'll'd be blaming him for it while logging into Netflix.

Pushed around, lol.

I can blame him for the same hourly blockbuster pay-wage.

Not exactly the same, but our '05 Prius battery is still going strong.
