well maybe they should get a little more indignant. i'd support them. maybe they shouldn't be so polite about it. if everyone, everywhere just quit accepting this shit and got pissed about it every time, every where, it might stop a little sooner than if we all just grin and bear it

Why is it that the response should come from the offended person anyway? How about if white people stop gratuitously insulting people of color? How about if white men stop making unwanted advances and start believing the victim when she comes forward. You do know that the most common tactic in a rape trial is to degrade the woman, don't you? How about if cabs stop for everybody and not just drive by the black man? The list goes on and on.

If I offended you by lumping all white men into one group, then you still don't understand and I give up.

well, i'm in favor of it...how you gonna get em to do it?
i don't recall gratuitously insulting anyone based on the color of their skin...if i insult someone, it's because i think they're stupid and annoying, which has nothing to do with racial heritage.
i try not to make unwanted advances, and if it becomes clear to me that my advances are unwanted, i stop making them...
i've never raped anyone, so i'm not familiar with the proceedings of rape trials.
i drove a cab for 5 years, night shift. i never once drove past anyone trying to hail me for a ride. i was there to make money. you don't make money passing up fares.
so...i'm doing my part...not gratuitously insulting people, trying not to make unwanted advances to women, not raping anyone, not discriminating in the workplace...whats your plan for those that are? i'm willing to lend support, if you have a concrete plan?

i never said you were wrong. lots of white people do act like asses. i'm sure i do myself occasionally. but for the most part. i try to be a decent person. if you want me to feel guilt for something i don't do, and don't support, then you should give up. because that's never going to happen.
i don't recall ever saying you were wrong about this stuff happening. i'm saying you're wrong for blaming every white man on the planet for it. every member of a particular race is guilty of the same sins? that is simply not acceptable reasoning....no matter what the race, or what the sin....and i find it pretty fucking hypocritical to skip past the broad brush and straight to the fucking paint sprayer...
by your logic, not only were the German guards at concentration camps guilty for "just following orders"...all Germans were guilty, whether they had anything to do with it or not, whether they supported it or not, whether they found it morally abhorrent or not....they didn't do enough to stop it, so they're guilty too...?

Here's the deal Buck I'm 1000% percent with shit. So I hate my whiteness so much I go around in black face but even then I am ostrich sized. I just wanna be down with the bros but no matter what I do to TELL them they never seem to listen. But the few times I've gotten into some all black situations because I only talked about BLM with them they let me know that performative allieships are another form of white privilege so I just went back to my yacht because that keeps em far away.
