Where the hell are you getting your information? Have any actual data to back up your claim? Or a reliable source? And what's it supposedly contaminated with?

Interesting that you make this claim because marijuana growers are already concerned about pesticide drift from neighboring farms.

"Due to Oregon's pesticide testing regime for marijuana and its high value, growers of more conventional crops worry about getting blamed for contamination that renders the mind-altering flowers unsalable."

"Oregon does permit marijuana growers to use certain general biopesticides that aren't subject to federal residue regulations, but detection of conventional pesticides disqualifies the crop from the commercial market."

What about Fungicides? I'm sure you can't get by without it in Oregon outdoors,

13 pages and 418 products approved for use. I guess I'm just lucky I don't have to use any of them. Have I used some of them in the past ? sure. Will I use them again? No

I don't use any of it either. I prefer prevention over
"It has been almost a year since the state of Oregon issued the toughest testing lab regulations in the nation.

The team had these products tested and found that despite being labeled ‘Pesticide-Free’ three of the ten extractions showed contamination at levels that should not reach the public. In a retest, only one test result came back contaminated."

Oregon still has the most testing. Nothing is perfect but after reading what some people on this site spray on their plants The weed in dispensaries in Oregon is much less contaminated than many personal grows. People are using bug bombs during flower.

I'm sure some contaminated product is getting through but the standards for contamination and methodology to determine that contamination have not been standardized. Different labs show different results.

Honestly, this is why we need it federal legal, at least medicinally. Some actual federal standards would be nice.

I welcome testing of cannabis. I don't use pesticides and I don't think other people should be allowed to either. It's not safe or ethical. Once the cigg companies start producing it they will be spraying secret stuff on it anyway.

Hopefully soon.

The thing is that Oregon tests products. That's why so many are banned for having ingredients not listed. Oregon has some of the strictest regulations in the country. But it's going to take time to get everything figured out.

Overall the weed you get in Oregon dispensaries has less pesticides and other contaminants than the lettuce people eat for salad. I think Oregon with Washington right behind have the strictest regulations for pesticides and other products used for cannabis and other plants.

It will catch up as more and more states legalize. It's still an industry that's growing and learning.

I live in the state that our Vice-president was governor of, things won't change here even if they legalize it Federally.

Well Indiana is in the middle of the "Toxic" belt. And that sucks. We're as clean and green as you can get for a state out here in Oregon.

Where else in America can you climb an 11,250 ft mountain "Mt Hood", Wakeboard on a river in the middle of a big city "Willamette in Portland", and still make it to the Pacific ocean to watch the sunset in a single day?

Dam....... texas is way overpriced...atleast 300 for topself
I was wondering what TX prices were like nowadays. Seems like it hasn't gone down much. I remember buying my first oz for $360 in 2006 (Houston area). In my opinion TX will never decriminalize it or offer medical cannabis so the price will always stay high.

Sounds wonderfull, but being in the mid-sixties of age I'd have to have a couple of naps along the way.
