Not trying to be rude mate, but that wasnt my question...

I know when to transplant and it's definitely not when I see roots sticking out the sides. That would be day two after they were seeded in those pellets and they can safely stay there another few days, filling the space with roots.
I let them do some air pruning before I transplant them. Sometime I also cut the roots which are too long to force more branching. Humidity dome is used untill I see the 2nd leaf set forming and that's usually the stage when I transplant them.

yoda doesnt even grow, bro. stick him on ignore like everyone else! bloody useless troll.

dome or plastic sandwich bags over em for a week or 10 days will help with humidity while theyre young, IF it's too low...what is it?

bugger about the rot...it happens! i go overboard on fans to prevent this...its worth it though imo

I've read plenty threads with him to make my own opinion, but he's plaing nice in here so lets leave it like that.

Its 65% w/o any humidifier.
I have a plan for the fans. Just waiting for new bigger nute tank that will go underneath the tent and make some room inside.
Watch this space...

The faster they get transplanted into a larger container the faster they will grow, those few days you wait are extra days you add to the veg cycle.

If that was true everyone would plant the seed in 20L containers. Theres the reason behind uppotting.

Have you ever started a seed in a large container? I have, it grows quickly.

Just trying to help you since you are having germ problems, i'll be happy to leave your thread since you already know it all.

I'm not sure where Your getting that vibe. We are just having a conversation. You are well welcome to stay :)

Actually I did start in the large container before. Roots went to the very bottom and start growing there, with the top portion of the pot left alone. Uppoting allows roots to fill one space first before transplanted to bigger pots. Result is fully covered with roots pot. We all know more roots = more flowers. If I missed something please point it out. I will listen to Your arguments :)

And You are wrong about me. I dont know everything, far from that tbh. Im new to this game ;)

Cannabis roots very quickly, the larger the container it is in the faster it will grow. If you don't believe me try starting 1 seed in a 10 gal container , just put a plastic bottle on top as a humidity dome, then start a second seed in a rapid rooter and try your uppotting method, you will see the one in the 10 gal container will grow much faster.

Have been busy lately and no time to post updates, but still alive and doing my thing.

Since day one on this round have been dealing with a lot of problems which were mostly PH and cal-mag related.
Clay pebbles that I use havent been rinsed before the application and i think have been throwing PH out a bit which with too little cal-mag shocked the plant. For about a week! I almost lost them but they somehow bounced back :)

Few changes to the setup:

- fans above the plants wherent cilculating the air and only pushing it down. Have been dealing with but rot for that last two rounds, so I've swap it a bit. Thanks to getting the main res out of the tent (more on that later) I had some floor space to put two fans. With one more fan in the opposite upper corner , pushing air down the air is nicely cilculated (tested with smoke) and hopefully that will be the end of that problem.

- main res was upgreaded to 150L tub that went underneath the tent.
- new pump for the nutes (SHURFLO WATER PUMP 10.6 L/min 30 psi 12V) which is now strong enough to give even pressure on all 3 levels. Thanks @Atomizer for the help choosing that.
- variac fan speed controller. Motorized duct fan went out for now. It was giving only micro adjustments to the whole system. I might pop it back in later. Thanks @lukio for help with wiring that up.
- my old 84L res took dutie of a waste res and sits underneat the tent.

In the rest of the tent stretch is still progressing.
It's day 9 after the flip and the last time they started flowering at day 10 and thats when streching stopped. Hopefully in a day or two otherwise some heads will have to go.

Garden is looking great @T-Time
I tried looking back but couldn't find for some reason, what drippers are you using and at what pressure?
Thank You :)
Drippers are Netafim button PCJ LCNL 8L/h (2gal/h). Dirtpots where 2gal but I cut maybe 2" off the top so probably around 1.6 - 1.7 gal now(6 - 6.5L).
Feeding them twice a day now but will bump to 3x for the week 2-4 of flower when the uptike will increase due to bulking.

Hope it helps :)

Game ON!

IMG_20181215_102041-2232x2976.jpg

Noticed roots sticking out the dirt pots all around. Must to like it in there. This time i've decided to go with straight coco w/o any amendments. Last time that chorcoal made the mix a bit heavy (10:1) and actually I've got the worst yield with that strain Will see how it goes this time.

Came bwck home yesterday to see a wet floor and lights out :( All the plants got a shower.
After a bit of research I've found one of the tubes slipped down during watering as the pressure is higher then what would be normaly needed in horizontal grow scenario.

Two smart plugs got burned ass fusedidnt save them but the rest look ok. To prevent anything like that happening again I've zip-tied all 177 (!) connection points, which wasn't easy with the plants in the way.
Ah well.... Live and learn.
