After a bit of research I've found one of the tubes slipped down during watering as the pressure is higher then what would be normaly needed in horizontal grow scenario.

Two smart plugs got burned ass fusedidnt save them but the rest look ok. To prevent anything like that happening again I've zip-tied all 177 (!) connection points, which wasn't easy with the plants in the way.
Ah well.... Live and learn.

Something like this is my biggest fear with automated watering. I'd feel better if I could make a pressure/flow switch, when pressure drops and flow increases, system shuts down.

In my system its watered 2-3 times a day, one minute each time, so not much water would spill anyway. I have extension lead laying on the floor underneath the tent. Any unwanted flooding and fuse goes stopping the whole thing working, so nothing else can go wrong. Saved my ass few times already.
Obviously best practice is prevention, but you cant always predict all the problems. I once heard that expert is a person who committed all posible mistakes in his field. I still have a long way to go :P:dunce:

When you say fuse do you mean arc fault or ground fault type breaker? Are you on 208 Volt? Might be worth looking into a combo afci/gfci unit might blow quicker than regular breaker and could have saved the smart outlets? IDK I'm not an electrcian.

I meant main circuit breaker box. I'm on 230V.
Far from electrician myself.
Smart plugs were casualties, its a small price to pay for such a big fault. I could loose the meanwell drivers, crop (if in later stages) , go to jail if it would cause fire or in worst scenario loose a life. They are around 30 quid each so feck it. That problem is sorted now and wont happen again.

Getting ready for next round, I bought that electric blanket for the youngsters. I know, I know its white, but washable, 40W, adjustable power, twice the size of the heating matt and half the price. Winning!!! :hump:

Hope everyone had a great xmas and green bushy xmas trees : )

Day 14 of flower.

Critical+ 2.0 slowly catching up to the Frisian Dew Auto. Hopefully they will finish together in about 5 weeks. FrisianDew is is only getting 11h of 1000W, so bulking slower then photoperiod Critical+

Why only 11? Is it due to electrical expense? I don't understand autos so pkz forgive that.

Not all reg seeds poped out and I had few autos in a fridge, so I stuck them in the dirt. My regular seeds are getting 11/13h and auto is just there to fill the space.
Even tho its only getting 11h . I hope because of higher wattage will grow normally (but slower). It's a experiment. The conditions for it are far from ideal, but I wanted to fill the unused space , use some seeds that I normally wouldn't grow and learn how the plants behave in the process. Plan is
for them to finish together. Time will tell ;)

Why not? I dont have much floor space and height of the ceiling is ~2.5m to fit 2m tent + ~ for the equipment underneath. Essentially growing on 1.5mx1.5m plane in a 1.5mx0.75m footprint. In a hand of experienced grower I think it could deliver amazing results. I didn't invent this stuff there are some great growers that tried this before me.
Check out Heath Robinson's vertical grows and defo @ttystikk single monster plant WOG grows.

When plants are in late stage of flowering, they start to pull N stored in leaves. That's basically how they finish.
Some peoplel say you can finish with your leaves being green, but I've never managed to do so. I'm a noob myself :dunce: and can't elaborate any more on that subject.

I have seen that they would typically start from the bottom to sacrifice leaves from there first. Mine are in random places on the plant all the way up with the tips drying up. I don't believe this is a normal condition. I was told to try CalMag and it doesn't seem to be helping. I posted them in the plant problems heading.

It looks like aacal mag defficiency to me tbh. Back to Your previos comment that id didnt get better when You gave cal mag. You know leaves wont get back the green colour, right ? Just checking.
How much cal mag did You put in with Your feeding, what lights do You use and what power ? What are the temps in the tent and most importantly , do You adjust PH. What is is ?
