I'm gunna start a separate grow journalj our since you guys were with me from the beginning and still have to raise some motherplant, I can show you my setup. I was going to go with a 40 pot SOG style setup with 20/20 perpetual. I got a 1000 liter+ pump and have a rez. For some reason it escaped me that 20 plants will be on a different feeding schedule, so fuck... I have to get another pump. I'm going with 2 gph drippers, so the 1000 liter plus may be overkill. I'm therefore just going with a 1/4 inch pump on the other 20 when that time comes. The first load will be 40 handwatered anyways. I got 2 x 100w Bridgelux COB's as well to fill in some extra color spectrums.

The seeds I'm popping:
Larry's Lemon OG (Garden of Green / mother)
Gorilla Zkittles (Barneys / mother)
Dark devil auto (Sweet seeds UFO)
Big devil XL (Sweet Seeds UFO)

Mylar coming.

Thanks for all the good info! Stay tuned folks!

Nice setup
Thanks. Both 340w QB boards were $160 + 60 heatsinks and 90 shipping. I paid $110 + $35 shipping for 600w driver. About 200$ in lumber/sheetrock. $80 in seeds. +++ but nothing outrageous. Still need reflective mylar... Pond liner is coming and I'll be gluing that to the board under the lights. I cut out some drainage and will have drainoff at the end of the table with bucket underneath. Got a tent for my mother's and 2 COB's. Still need to get a fan, will probably go with a Chinese silent model 6inch. But I will wait with that until mom's get big enough to clone. Getting there tho. Gonna pop the seeds tomorrow.

reflective mylar=emergency blanket in camping section dollerama in Canada.
Mine is 4 by 8 feet $1.50, but was last year price, works fine.

That's not me. I posted to show you that the Hansion boards are a rip-off of the BC Blonde boards.

You wanted proof that Hansion rips people off? Here it is: http://www.rollitup.org/t/new-style-samsung-lm561c-board.955201/page-9#post-13958238

This entire thread is 78 pages long, but that is the post where the OP says Hansion admits to him they sold him LM561B instead of LM561C chips. This was after another member on RIU compared macro shots of the LEDs and told the OP they were not LM561C. The Chinese supplier couldn't deny it, because it was true - they were not LM561C.

The poor guy even bought eight of these boards off Hansion, so got ripped off eight times!

Worst thing about it? That bastard company now quotes the same OP saying how honest it is when they ripped him off and admitted it!

So go ahead and buy those 960 boards, and when you do, please take some macro photos of the LEDs and show them to us and someone here will tell you if they are real LM561C chips or not. And even if they are, there is not a chance in hell I would trust that company to sell top bin S6 diodes.

Because this company has a history of ripping people off (there are other examples in the above thread)..

BTW, yes Hansion did produce boards for HLG, but HLG stopped using them. You can make your own assumptions as to why.

But hey, look on the bright side - they'll still grow plants.
Plain and simple, these Chinese companies know that the shipping costs on returns is far too high for anyone to actually go through it.
But MOSTLY, if one company admits and is truthful about the diodes they use being a lower bin, it's basically guaranteeing that customers will look elsewhere to another company who WILL LIE for supposed "Higher Bin" diodes.

They are 3030 diodes connected in series on an aluminum board. Your accusation that Meijiu uses bunk bins is kinda weak dude. Maybe some cheesedick screwed someone for bins, but to point fingers to 'all chinese' is kinda ignorant. I kinda felt like a dick dragging these sales people in the mud over this loosely exaggerated claim. But I did it anyways. I'm very satisfied with the deal I got and very satisfied with Rita who handled my somewhat hysterical obsession with getting ripped off well. I got trade assurance. I agree there should be reason for concern about this, but I don't think those who are serious contenders, even in China, are going to risk their potential earnings over something that stupid. You don't think they know we are testing them? Anyways, I hope you will follow my grow journal. I am confident my $80 boards will compete with even HLG at a great reduction of cost. Shipping costs will come down again soon enough. If you are going to manufacture boards in high numbers this peckering would be more relevant, and no matter where you decide to produce your board, you're an idiot if you don't do your research and cover your ass. Plain and simple.

These are 3000k. Not ideal for veg... Stretchy is fine... I need them to grow up fast lol... These are my mother's.
In my experience, 3000k is excellent for veg. It's practically all I use. Having a high enough light level is key to avoid stretch. Though I'm sure you'll be fine with the plants anyway (a little stretch isn't the end of the world), if you turn your light up a bit you'll probably see less stretch.

No worries here...
